The guys here are way nicer than B&H photo, they're super helpful even if they don't have a particular item. Prices are kind of hard to beat and the store is not too difficult to get to.

The ticketing system is a little absurd but efficient in its own way. If you need film , they have a great selection; just know what you're going to get before you queue up.

One of the best places to buy a high-end DSLR camera , but they certainly are not hiring the most fuzzy, warm sales reps here!

Easier to navigate than B&H and seems like more personal service. I go there for all of my photo needs!

Great place for camera and tech gear. The store follows a Jewish calendar/schedule, so they close at 2p on Friday and closed all day Saturday.

Once you have done business with the Adorama, you learn quickly that they are reliable & trustworthy. They put the customer first. Adorama should be on your to do list when in New York.

If a sales person offers you a discount or free item during your bargaining, make sure they actually take it off at the register. They're extremely shady this way.

If you're picking up rental equipment and have a vehicle with you, call Adorama and ask for curbside pickup/drop-off to avoid parking tickets. They'll bring equipment downstairs & load your vehicle.

I recently purchased a new Asus Laptop from Adorama. The unit arrived in a defective state and would not work. Adorama will not exchange the unit. I discourage anyone from using Adorama for computers.

Great place to pick up prints . If you send them a pic it will come out the same way it is on screen. TERRIBLE customer service on the camera side though.

HORRID customer service- incompetent/misinformed employees & management. All of whom do not know their own policies & do nothing to help. Be prepared to fight if something goes wrong w. your purchase.

Go to BH, Calumet or Fotocare before I ever come here again. Customer service can't help you in store unless you speak to the shipping dep before hand about an order that had shipped & want to return
