OMG, I think this is the best mole chicken enchiladas I've ever had. The mole is earthy but has a tinge more sweetness to it than you'd expect. It goes so well with the pulled chicken inside. Try it!

Super Dad

Tasty Enchiladas !!! Great chips & salsa ! Kids loved their tacos (both hard shell & soft)! Note: This place is 1/2 mile from the river walk; so, wouldn't recommend walking with kids to/from river walk.

Christopher Vesta

Generally speaking I usually don't leave tips on Foursquare, but if anyone is ever in the San Antonio area, I highly recommend anything with Rosario's mole sauce and the La Tuna margarita !

Ron Jeramiah

Great food all around..Enchiladas are awesome. Carnitas are great! All taco dishes are tasty. Great spot to bring guests when visiting the Alamo City ????

msh harris

Had the Chicken Verde Enchiladas rice n bean very tasty n Delicious Mom had chile rellenos w cane asada very first time here n very tasty n Delicious food salsa n chips very delicioso :-):-):-)

Allen Arcade

The enchiladas are definitely the thing to get here. Got it after the recommendations are not disappointed. The spinach ones have grilled shiitake mushrooms inside and adds a real unexpected taste.

Michael C

Oh man that was good.... I had the mollejas a la plancha (veal sweet breads in a stewed tomato sauce ) which now tops my list of best Mexican foods ever stuffed in my face.

John Hankus

Great Margaritas . Poured strong. The mole sauce was delicious. Spinach and mushroom enchiladas was delicious as well . Can't go wrong with any of the enchiladas on the menu.

Robert Nakama

Had the Handshaken Margarita on Ice and it was pretty amazing. The salsa that came with the chips was one the best I've had. I couldn't stop eating it. The Mole sauce is ridiculously good.

Tom F

The food is amazing (delicious chalupas ), service is great, only downside is the back dining area can get really loud where a 4 person table has to yell at each other. Still worth the food though!

Rebecca B.

The night I was there (a Monday) it was really crowded and very loud . But the food was great and came out quickly. And they have coconut flan . Yummy!

Moe Dexler

Do not miss this place if you are in San Antonio for a few days. Off the beaten path, but so worth a short walk from River Walk area.

Laurenn Castañola

Before I ever tried it, I thought it was an Italian place . So it surprised me when I saw the menu & it was Mexican food . there isn't a wide variety to pick from and a bit over priced but VERY GOOD..

Jeremiah Lee

It was different! The fajitas were good.. But different. Enchiladas were amazing, salsa was fresh, margaritas not bad, amazing piña coladas with whipped cream and cherry on top. Thumbs up!

Neal Joseph

Sautéed hot peppers appetizer (unique!), spinach enchiladas (amazing), and pica pica margaritas (superb, and plural) are a killer combination!

Rodrigo Moreno

One of the best places to have a great margarita with a great plate of enchiladas .

Anthony Colton

Pollo a la Maria is my favorite! This is a nice clean restaurant . We dubbed it the aviary because people talking echos a lot, but the food is good.

Barbara Kaplan

I ordered based on some reviews here. I found the enchiladas suizas to be too sweet. I did enjoy a killer hand-shaken margarita , however. I will come to try the ceviche and tacos .

Jacquelyn Johnson

This place is so good! Tacos Nortenos is my favorite thing to get!

Bill Fox

The food was just ok and came out quickly. We ate at the bar and had margaritas . It took a little longer than expected to get menus and our check. We did not get the side of guacamole we ordered.

Alex Priest

Nothing game-changing, but solid Mexican food . I’d skip the guacamole in favor of the ceviche (in both cases, chips seems under-salted—but fresh and crispy ). Marg was okay, martini glass annoying.

Lamont Knight

Food is extremely delicious and very low prices. My first experience eating Mexican cuisine and I was very impressed. Loved it!

Stephanie C

Try the enchiladas w mole - ask to sample the sauce if you think you might not like it - I thought it was divine. Great smoky salsa , too. On the blue trolley line .

John Waycuilis

In this humble gringo’s opinion, one of the very best Tex Mex restaurants I have ever been to. ????????????

Francisco Perez

I liked the enchiladas verdes and ceviche . Friendly service and nice décor.

Selena

I just tried the flautas especiales with chicken and all I gotta say is hot damn those were delicious! Never ending salsa is a nice touch.

Tobias Reiper

Can't go wrong with the food here if you want hearty and tasty tacos !!

Nicole Litterio

La Pina and enchilada spinach was amazing. La Pina has a fun kick. Favorite appetizer was the queso .

Suzi Clarke

Not too crowded at lunch . Excellent salsa ! Coco Rita was a refreshing, yummy choice!

Antonio Burrowes

Great food!!! My father in law recommended this place I was not disappointed

Amelia

I had the chicken flautas plate with rice and charro beans . Of the whole plate, the charro beans were the best. The rice was somewhat bleh, and the flautas were good, though nothing special.

Clay Chastain

The salsa is incredible and if you're being bold, try the beef tongue . It's tender like the best filet mignon .

AD Delgeezy

Best mole and enchiladas I’ve had ina while.. Taste like gmas cooking almost.. very good tacos too

Arienne Alvarado

Amazing Food and service! The salsa is worth paying the $5 for a To-go pint! Also try the Coco Margarita !!!!

Marc Saenz

Top shelf margaritas were small. Fajitas were NOT sizzling and small portioned. Lights dimmed at sunset and they lit candles which was romantic . My wife got the enchiladas she said they were good.

Dena Williams

The best Fish Tacos I have ever tasted. Love them!

板津 魁彦

Love this place! Try ceviche fino , nacho estilo, chorizo quesadillas

Quentin Hendricks

Amazing food and margaritas ! Try the la tuna . Made with prickly pear cactus juice !

Lindsay Longobardi

Delicious fajitas ! Sauce for chips is hot and smokey. So good!Great for large groups.

Bill Fox

I had the Pollo a la Maria: the sauce was incredible and for take out , the food was hot (as expected).

Michael

This place is fantastic! Try the shishito peppers .

Kathryn Jones

Enchiladas , salsa and chips , all of it was good and the service was great!

Huntur

Their salsa is so amazing I almost cry just thinking about it. Best thing in san antonio

Ivan Yort

Try the arroz con leche for dessert . Awesome !

Eshelle Chavez

You can't go wrong with enchiladas suizas ! Seriously, try them!!!!

Isaac Benavides

The roasted flavor of the salsa and its smoky tomato flavor make this a favorite.

Lisa Gutierrez

The cheese enchiladas are to die for!!! The super nachos with beef fajita are also amazing to start off with!!

Aaron Ammerman

The ceviche fino is incredibly delicious!!! Ask for a large!

Gracey S.

Thought I was going to like the chicken mole enchilada but I was disappointed. Came to try their Beef fajita but it was so tough to eat and it’s like marinated w/fish sauce. Chips was good, salty salsa

Colin White

Fish and shrimp tacos are delicious. Order one of each.
