The frozen prickly pear margarita is delicious and strong! Two of them and I'm ???? Helps keep you cool through these hot San Antonio summer
Awesome tostadas and Elotes! Also good selection of cocktails (that can easily be made virgin). Definitely street food style on a plate.
Be sure to sample several of La Gloria’s authentic Mexican dishes like the ceviche , queso and molcajetes . Talk with Chef Johnny Hernandez if you need to accommodate a special diet ! –Race to the Alamo
Local chef Johnny Hernandez’s tasty, authentic Mexican street food is served in a casual , airy ambiance at the Pearl Brewery complex. Read more
This place is awesome! We are here in San Antonio for vacation. It's our 3rd day in a row @ La Gloria. The food is fresh & delicious! If you are in San Antonio, this is a must!
Great ceviche ! Chips/queso/guacamole were all good too. Service was attentive and atmosphere fun. Will go back.
Had the the Panucho Cochinita Pibil , the elote and the ceviche verde -- all delicious. But you can't go wrong with anything you order
They don't have "happy hour " but they have good tacos and Aguas frescas (try the Jamaica.) The Queso is super good and served with white corn tortillas . Be careful if you ask for chips , you'll pay.
Hernandez has perfected the mexican street food scene with a bonus riverwalk view . What to order: frozen drinks , guacamole , roasted corn (elote ) & a skirt steak molcajete .
Very good choice for those who love mexican foods . Everything I tasted was so delicious, I strongly recommend. Reasonable price and good service ..
This is THE BEST food! The fried tacos with verde and the red sauce were fantastic! Try everything, you won't regret it. I regret we found it on our last night in town !
Although it is a little pricey , the food & drinks are so good! My favorite is the prickly pear margarita ! They are definitely worth the price!
Margaritas , queso fundido and alambre tacos are what I usually order when I go here! ???????? However, service might be slow depending on how busy it gets.
Hands down, the best authentic Mexican food we encountered. Even the tortilla chips . The big pot of simmering pork amazing.
Queso fundido was solid. The al pastor tacos are some of the best I've had. The mangorita was okay. I disliked the chips , too thick!
I love this place. The food is always great. It's served A La Carte so be sure you pay attention to pricing and servings!
House salsa is good. You can taste the roasted tomatillos and it has a slight tobacco flavor to it somehow.
The ceviche is fantastic. Sitting outside is the way to go.
The steak molcajete was, honest to God, one of the best things I’ve ever tasted. I live in New York City .
Food has never done it for me, but theory's are good and strong. Original, mangonada, and many of the others were awesome.
A bit pricey , but definitely worth it! Love the margaritas !
Sopes are delicious. The Paloma is one of the best I've ever had anywhere. Must try.
Molcajete : Puercos con Chile and a Corn on the Cob is perfect every time!
Ever thought liquor in your Agua Frescas would be a good idea? Try La Sandia. "Grown-Up" Agua Frescas for sure ;)
The tacos I'll plus store were great ... Getting the food out was a little bit slow but the waitresses were very nice..
Tiny street portions, so get multiple items if you're hungry. Dorados Verdes was excellent!
All of their margaritas and drinks that say "lime juice " used fresh squeezed lime juice ...watched her do it.
Always packed but hang around the outside bar easily snag a seat enjoy some great cocktails by Armando and listen to the band
the tamale of the day was substantial in size and delicious and so was the elote .
Good ceviche . The bun on the hamburger was hard. The tortillas for the tacos weren't hot. The order of my appetizer and entree were reversed.
I had the avocado panuchos . Great vegetarian option . Ridiculously good. And their queso is amazing!
Decently good fish tacos . One is enough. Will try different one.
This place is fresh and flavorful. Smaller portions so you can try more items. Feel good food.
This is a great place for Mexican street food . Love the outdoor seating .
Love the atmosphere and the drinks! Great for summer nights
Margaritas are strong. They also have a tequila that can only be found at La Gloria
Be sure to get the Hamberguesa, for sure one of the best things to get on the menu. I get it every time I'm here YUMMY!
The house marg is to die for, and the mangolada is quite tasty too
Everything is a la cart so order up the goodness.
Try a variety of the drinks made with fruit juices . Very refreshing and delicious with taquitos .
great venue. fantastic ambiance. and you pay for it in mediocre food with a great vibe. do it once.
Great food and drinks! We recommend the ceviche and anything listed on the servers shirts .
Portions are small so get lots if little things. Mexican pizza is HUGE. But so good. Wonder why frozen Ritas cost more though.
It was alright. Best part is the scenery. Had a torta and it was mostly bread . Need to upgrade wherever they get their pan!
La Gloria margarita !!! Delicious! Also Baja fish tacos
They're open everyday of the week now! I also got a free mexican coke for showing them I checked in on foursquare. :3 I think the server was just nice.
Highly recommend the prickly pear margarita . Worth every penny.
Great place for a unique Mexican meal (not TexMex ).
La Gloria's is losing their mojo . There's been a steady decline over the last year or so in food and service. What gives?
Belly up to the the bar if you're eating alone and skip the wait.
