The UES must be a desert for good coffee ... since Starbucks has the highest ratings when searching for ☕ in the area

If Carly makes your double chocolate chip frap , ask for an extra pump of chocolate . She has a light hand when it comes to chocolate syrup .

Ample seating, they never mess up my order. Grande iced coffee with an extra shot ftw!

Jose is the best! I go an extra stop in the subway to go to 85th - the 77th & Lex sbux isn't as good.

Gonna miss the seasonal hats, and HBIC at the counter who lays the smack down on AM ordering... I doubt this kinda service exists in Tampa!

Worth the visit over other coffee shops in the area because of the great staff . Jose's hats are great!

A mostly new staff took over in Fall '10. Unlike the old staff , they're friendly and not jaded by the service industry. Get 'em while they're hot!

Get a cup of Pike Roast then head across the street to Carlow East and make it a nice Irish Coffee .

When there's a long line , make sure to include your pastry when you order. If you wait until you're at the register you end up waiting.

They're über fast in the morning, especially when my man in the thick glasses and 60s spy hat is serving.

Carly is the WORST barista. She has made several drinks for me that required sweetener and failed to mention there wasn't any left. The service sucks here. I'm disappointed EVERY time. AVOID.
