All the indie films fit to watch while you sip booze and eat vegan cookies and great popcorn . Phone reception sucks, which is fine because you should be watching the movie .
Cool staff . Great snacks includes the Crab Pretzel . Beer & wine available. Great movie selection. It costs 11 bucks to park in the garage--look for metered (and free after hours) spaces along 11th St.
This is my favorite movie theatre. The staff is friendly and professional and they show really great films .
Great theater and not overwhelmingly large, and a wonderful selection of smaller films . It has parking and metro access as well as food and alcohol selection.
One of the best kept secrets in the nations capitol, showing first-run independent and foreign films , along with midnight screenings of the Rocky Horror Picture Show there's always something to watch!

E Street Cinema continues to be the best around. Awesome staff , great atmosphere, dead zone for phones (love it!), good food and drinks.
The popcorn is outstanding, but make sure you get there early enough to wait in line for it—especially on a weekend night!
Check out Rocky Horror show on Friday or Saturday nights at midnight..way fun! A cast acts out the show in real time with lots of audience participation...and of course dress up opportunities for all
Films from Studio Ghibli will be shown again 3/8 - 4/13. Great films . I've seen all but two from the line-up. #anime #StudioGhibli
The popcorn is wonderful. The bags are compostable. Recycling bins can be found throughout the theater. There are a variety of delicious food options.
Best theatre in DC. Good beer and great food options
Great theater. They serve alcohol with a one drink limit but they'll pour two drinks into a single cup. Make sure you consider how badly you don't want to miss parts of your movie for bathroom breaks.
One of the best places to watch great films like Pariah and The Iron Lady is Landmark . Saw Pariah last week and The Iron Lady yesterday. Both were AMAZING.
Really lovely theater with an old school atmosphere.
No cell signal, and awesome concessions makes this theater a great environment for movie watching.
Go here for the serious movie buff crowd! Cool place.
This place has Crabcakes , Wine , Sweet Potatoe Fries , Beer , Pretzels , & Caramel Popcorn ! Totally Awesome ....
The midnight movies on Fridays and Saturdays are great, even if the people will give you flashbacks to college D&D parties in the quad.
Parking validation for this theater happens on weekends. We were there on a weeknight and realized this fact. Love this theatre!
Our fave DC cine for film festivals . Never been? Let the 2011 DC Shorts Film Festival be your initiation. Oh, and check in/check off this tip BEFORE you go down; service is a negative.
They serve local dc brews at their bar . Theaters are small & intimate
Favorite cinema in town . Save $3 from the regular ticket price by showing your student ID. Get the slushies , too!
My favorite theater , really good vibe and movie selection.
Only the first showing of the day (sometimes at 10am or 11am) counts as a "matinee" for matinee pricing.
Great indie cinema . Friendly people, alcohol and a nice selection of non multiplex films .
Love this theatre. They have a student discount too!
Perfect spot for all of your arthouse, independent and documentary films .

Clean , reasonably priced alch + it's nice and chilly inside! Downside: Chair arms in the theater #5 are immobile. Not sure if the rest are like that.

Great indie/foreign film venue. Small and cozy , AND they serve beer and wine . Perfect combination of awesome.
It's $22 to park in the garage long enough to see a matinee. Take the metro. (They also serve beer & wine , so all the more reason not to drive!)
You can't say anything bad about a cinema that serves tequila shots! 2 thumbs up!
Get your parking ticket stamped by someone at the theater!! It'll save you $5 on parking .
Definitely get there early. I like to grab a beer before the snow with my friends. It's a great looking theater with comfy seats and a good location. - Molly Cushing
This is by far my favorite independent theater in DC. The crew is friendly and the theater is huge. It has an old style feeling to it which adds a cozy touch. Great concession as well! - Jessica Flowers
The best movie theatre in town. Period. It's a pop up but I hope they make it a perm spot. Cool lounge with a good selection of wine, beer, snacks, comfy seats, not overpriced, great art house movies. - banafsheh ghassemi
