Love the Regal in Chinatown! Very easy to get to. Parking lot underground where you can park for free for 2-3 hours and get your ticket validated at the theaters. Easy to get to from the Metro!
Make sure to get signed up for a Regal Crown Club card . It's free and you get points for every dollar spent, which eventually adds up to free popcorn , soda , etc.
Definitely get there early. I like to grab a beer before the snow with my friends. It's a great looking theater with comfy seats and a good location.
They got eyeglasses that display subtitles for hard of hearing or deaf people! Best get there late so there won't be anybody else in hall and eyeglasses will be surely available (free of charge!) ????
I avoid this place on Friday and Saturday nights due to the kiddie crowds, but otherwise this is a great place to watch a movie .
A run-of-the-mill theater showing major releases, 3D capabilities, stadium seating, overpriced food. Right on top of the Red Line -- that's a great bonus. Always busy- get tickets online in advance.
Really upped their game recently with assigned seats that recline, thumbs up!
Convenient location, comfy seats , big screens , and good sound. There's really no downside.
Don't book seats F16, F15, F14, or F13 at the Regal Gallery Place 4DX screen in Washington, D.C. Maybe don't go to the theater expecting your seats to work.
Get there early on Friday and Saturday nights to get decent seats
Remember to get your parking validated before your leave the theater. Paying $24 for a 2.5 hr movie is NOT the business. ????
It's worth your time to get a regal card.
You can go in before the time frame they let you in for your movie if you're getting snacks !
Strange going into a theater in a building like this, but not a bad experience. Perfect to grab a bite to eat before or after your show.
Always get here early for good movies , 15 min early is way to late, you if you want to sit up top.
Drink up at the drinking fountain outside of the ticket taker booth (near the elevator ). There's no drinking fountains once you get inside.
Go past security early for your movie by getting in the concession line ????????
Nice building .... they need to let ya know where the actual theatre is. .. not enough signs that tell you. Make sure they cook ya pretzels
Consider seeing Young Adult, the new movie from Juno collaborators Jason Reitman and Diablo Cody. Our critic gave it four stars! Read more
Be sure to get the Regal Crown club card and enjoy free popcorn , soda and even free movie tix as your spend adds up!
Beautiful exterior. Interior, not so much. But, the recliner seats make up for everything lacking here.
Metro hub at Gallery Place makes this cinema easily accessible.
Most of the time I'm here it's for a pre-screening but the theaters are pretty clean .
Recline your chair before the movie starts—they are quite noisy .
It's a big theater. Anyhow, I was only passing by to get in the Verizon Center arena though.
Buy your tickets at the kiosk it is do much quicker and much less riff-raff
As of September 2015 they search your bags on your way in and will not let you enter with any type of outside food or drink - even an apple .
If you're coming to a movie preview, get here at least 1 &1/2hrs before show time.
Don't forget your Regal card. They do check bags, but that's ok.
In between times for the movies so didn't get to go but seems like a nice place!
easy for seeing blockbusters in the city
Today's ticket taker was too busy talking on her cell phone to bother ripping our stubs.
parking is free for the 1st 3 hours with a validated stamp @the Gallery Place garage
Do yourself a favor and always buy your tickets online. If you can avoid talking to anyone who works here, consider it a success.
best regal I've been too
Despite being downtown, it's almost never very crowded .
Save $ by presenting your student ID.
Movie : Everything Everywhere All At Once
Great seats, arm rest folds up on both sides. Student and military discounts offered!
Bring a book bag with your own food you'll come out cheaper!
If you do not like large crowds or to feel like you are a tourist , avoid this area all together.
For the price I'd expect bigger screens. But that's movies for you.
Best theater seats in the DMV area hands down...
They will force you to throw out leftovers from area restaurants . Find a new theater
Comfortable seats , decent service, hoodlum kids. -_-
Sneak in your snacks . Medium popcorn and medium soda is 12.50.. aka a ripoff
Bring the plastic...there's too many other things to do once the movie is over. Again, bring the plastic, especially if you head over to Lucky Strikes.
They make you throw away food even if you're buying concessions!
Don't get these new cinnamon bite things they're selling. Hard as rocks! And the icing has no flavor-just SUGAR.

Crab cakes were awesome! Pure crab no filler...! Great veggies and sauce too :) paired with a Stella...or three ;) - Suzanne
Open until 1am on weekends! Great spot for your milkshake or ice cream fix. Don't forget to ask for samples of the ice cream before you decide. They also serve smoothies. - Emily
Green Curry with veggies is delish, the only problem is mushy eggplant. - Jessica N.
They recently renovated this theater so it has comfy, leather recliners and reserved seating now. It's right across from the waterfront so take a walk before/after your film for some beautiful views - Caitlin Lawler
Really cool movie theater! There’s a bar in front, and their popcorn is amazing. - Amy Cummings
Pretty large screen and yes, you can buy beer beforehand. It would be nice if they did more mainstream movies! - Byron Wilkes
