When Congress is in session, Bistro Bis is the unofficial lunchroom for many members. The onion soup is a crowd pleaser as is the crisp braised pork belly with butter beans . -- Green Guide Editor
The cheese plate at this upscale Capitol Hill spot is one of the best in town . Varieties from around the world are featured on the menu, as well as helpful wine pairings .
A good onion soup is hard to find—but not if you’re eating here. What to get: Endive salad with blue cheese ; steamed mussels in saffron broth; steak frites ; steak tartare ; apple tart with Calvados.
Try the seasonal specials ... I loved the goat cheese stuffed squash blossom , the rockfish and the petit fours plate.
Get the scallops as an appetizer !! The creamy polenta that comes with the Icelandic Cod is AWESOME!! You won't be disappointed!
for lunch or for late night : the escargot w/garlic confit , mushrooms , artichokes , bordelaise. w/little brioche toasts. perfection.
As others have highlighted, the onion soup is fantastic.
At lunch , order the salmon . Great portion size and the merging of the apple with the fish is super flavorful. Tasty!
Sausage sandwich (saucisson merguez ) is one of the best lunch dishes in the area
Loup de mer is exquisite. Very friendly service by Norman.
The Rhubarb Mule is an excellent cocktail . Perfectly refreshing on a hot summer's day.
Try the Frisee with Lardons, and the Braised Rabbit .
They block the wifi in the hotel bar , which makes having a drink while you catch up on work difficult.
An excellent ambience for a Birthday dinner with superb food wine and service.
The steak and eggs breakfast is yummy. The staff is very friendly and prompt.
My new fav restaurant in town . Great service and wonderful food. Ever notice no chicken on the menu? ;)
The passion fruit Creme Brûlée is the best dessert I've had in my life. Literally.

While the food was good. I didn't get the correct order, the bartenders . R wonderful the wait staff pass the buck and can be short with patrons, and they don't know the menu, $70 meal and not worth it
