That's an amazing restaurant with a magnific staff service. I was impressed for how attentive they are for everything , mostly the small details. Free parking !!! Plus the food is awesome.
If you haven't checked out the new space & menu. You are missing out on so much! Tonight was a prefect welcome back to the DC food scene! Start to finish not one issue other than I am stuffed! AMAZING
Surprised with their locally grown and produced menu items. Enjoyed the beer , burgers and service. Definitely a must stop in the capital.
If you're looking for a healthy breakfast , order from the Art Start Breakfast Menu - market omelet + toasted granola w/ yogurt are both delicious.
Food was delicious (and I love that they have a separate dog menu! ), super cute decor, and a lovely waitress ... unfortunately the restaurant management is AWFUL... extremely disorganized!
No questions about it, must get the fried chicken . The breading has the perfect crunchiness to it and the chicken is very moist and juicy.
Eggs Benedict were amazing! Having tomatoes in it really gives it a different touch
The fried chicken is crispy and perfectly cooked. Save room for dessert : the tarts and pies are warm and yummy.
Do yourself a favor and try Art Smith’s decadent modern take on fried chicken . It’s just like mom used to make (if mom was on Top Chef and served as Oprah’s personal chef ).

The Caesar is a true Caesar; the Mac and Cheese is perfect and the wine menu is impressive. I said ImPressivE!
The cornbread is perfection. So was the blueberry pisco sour and my country ham and cherry tomato salad .
Great take on southern classics . Shrimp and grits was excellent early lunch .
Art Smith is the chef behind this restaurant 's fine dining . He elevates southern style food to a completely whole new level because he makes white meat taste just as awesome as dark meat!
Great drinks, even better happy hour specials ! Just make sure you know it's in a hotel .
Great for business meetings with vegetarians ...they offer a vegetable quiche of the day!
Ceasars salad with chicken thighs is an easy lunch that is absolutely delicious.
The all-you-can eat brunch is worth the splurge. I have never seen a cheese display so glorious.
The lemon pancakes are amazing! The service was outstanding, also.
Excellent beers on tap (not a large number but all good)
An amazing experience!! Had the rabbit .. Best meal of my life!!
Chicken biscuit is often off menu , but they'll pretty much always make one for you.
Start with the wedge salad - it's large, but don't share it; too delicious to part ways with half.
Drink the Lincoln's Garden (Hendrick's gin , basil , chili oil ). Eat the fried green tomato ahi tuna and whatever your waiter/waitress recommends. They know their stuff.
From Washingtonian: lemon yogurt pancakes , cheddar and maple bacon bfast sandwich , fruit parfait .

Kenya is one of the best waitresses I've ever had while dining. Thank you!
Excellent food and funky hip atmosphere .
Great place! Great food! Great service!
Had business dinner there and selected the fried chicken which is the restaurant 's specialty. Sadly I would prefer KFC, place is overrated for food quality.
Great food!! Love the atmosphere!!!
Shrimp and grits and the lamb shank were a bomb !!!
Vegetarians : get the savory crêpe
This spot lived up to it’s mediocre Yelp review of 3.5 stars. The Farmer’s breakfast was good, but very little “special” here, including the service.
Great happy hour atmosphere. The fried pickles were so so.
Excellent fried chicken and mac and cheese
Eat at bar for happy hour prices
Good sandwiches , great happy hour !
Based on this evening, the service was poor (super slow. A 10 min wait for a table was closer to an hour and after 15 mins the check hadn't arrived after requesting it) but food was really good.
Mimosas are hight quality!
The dog hanger steak for $5 is a great deal!
Fantastic food! Fried catfish, greens, grits and cheese, cornbread, sweet tea, great fries chicken. They're doing it right! - James Stolp
