This natural attraction is a must for travelers in Chattanooga. Visitors is be wowed by this thundering 145-foot underground waterfall , a wonder located on the scenic Lookout Mountain .
The time you get to spend at the waterfall at the end of the journey is very small (around 5 mins). Lesser on busy days. Make sure you get the perfect pic before they turn of the lights.
It's worth seeing Ruby Falls, but sometimes you will feel crowded when large tour groups walk past you. Nevertheless, the lighting throughout the caverns is spectacular and the Falls are beautiful.
Amazing. Can't say how awesome this experience was. Come prepared to walk, but you forget that when you see the falls. Nick was a great guide
If you are there for a natural scene you'll be disappointed. This is very touristy and has been touched too much. Barely any natural formations are still there but The waterfall is beautiful.
I have visited twice: 1976 and 2022. Both times were enjoyable. I recently moved to Knoxville, so I bought an annual pass. Plan to visit a few more times.
What's not to like....a cave with a 100 people and water at the end. They even take your picture while you wait for all of your group of 25 or more.
The group consists around 33 pax per tour guide (even for weekdays!). So u won't get to hear much if u are mid to back of the grp. Wish they have smaller grp.
Did you know? Ruby Falls is located more than 1,120 feet beneath the mountain’s surface. The limestone caves are formed by carbonic acid eating away the rock, a process called chemical weathering. Read more
Stay at the back of the group. You can take pics and not feel rushed. When you get to the falls it goes quick so get your pics right away.
A natural wonder worth seeing! Great value for what you get!
The history as to how Ruby Falls was discovered and named is as amazing as the falls themselves! Don’t pass this adventure by.
The waterfall , Ruby Falls, is breathtaking. Well worth the ticket price. I was moved to tears.
The actual Ruby Falls was impressive, but the rest of the cavern , not so much. Be sure to get Dan as your tour guide! He made it very entertaining!
Martin was our guide and he was wonderful. Enjoyed it very much and had a great time even though it rained cats and dogs.
If you are there for a natural scene you'll be disappointed. This is very touristy and has been touched too much. Barely any natural formations are still there but The waterfall is beautiful. $$$$$$$
This was a cool tour . A little disappointed that the tour guide wasn't actually from Tennessee but still good. Do the lantern tour at night, awesome!
Great undergrounds area to check out.
Again... BEAUTIFUL!!! I believe everyone should see the beauty that is Ruby Falls!!!
Miss Davis was a great tour guide. She's a stickler for the rules but she has lots of southern charm. Our safety was always her top concern.
We live in Chattanooga and never get tired of Ruby Falls!! It's amazing!!
Please be careful with Georgia mud, some of the cabins are in very steep slopes ...!!!! Great view
Tour is somewhat rushed, but well worth it. Paths are very easy, so don't worry if you have athsma.
Beautiful, must visit!
Everything is great here! I don't miss Kansas at all!
Come early to avoid crowds. But overall, I love this place!
If you can get Andy as your tour guide, you can skip the comedy club that night!
If you're over 6' tall, wear a hat. Helps either warn you forget to duck in the low caverns , or cushion the blow.
Come early in the day to avoid long wait for ticket. The wait for the elevator is hardly 5 mins even during holiday season though!
Ruby falls was beautiful the kids enjoyed it, but it was quite touristy .
The view on lookout tower is amazing. Should try.
Go before they close and you might get a personal tour . Ask about the tornados.
Take the lantern tour . It is well worth the $$. The regular tour is too crowded
Ciera was a great tour guide. Super fun! I'll do the lantern one in the future!
Wear some good grip walking shoes because there are many slippery areas
Awesome experience. Don't touch the cave . It destroys it, and unfortunately much of it is not as spectacular as it used to be.
The underground caverns are beautiful but be wary of Mexican pervs trailing you through the cavern corridors
Good footwear and a small flashlight come in handy.
Amazing! I liked there!
Great fun but go in winter or fall when less crowded
Beautiful waterfall . Be prepared to walk a mile to get there.
This is an awesome place, Andrew was a great guide!
If you're claustrophobic, this might not be the attraction for you.
Don't forget to bring your tripod to shoot the ruby falls.
Amazing must see waterfall , if you're in the area.
Ask Hannah she the best tour guild ever
beautiful place to visit, make sure you've got your waling shoes !
Came to Ruby Falls but it was flooded. Carlin gave great advice for alternate sight seeing activities, she rocks!
Interesting history, amazing waterfall
Keldon is a great tour guide. She doesn't like farters in her cave though.
