Located atop Lookout Mountain, Rock City is a true marvel of nature featuring massive ancient rock formations , gardens with more than 400 different native plant species.

The experience depends largely upon the crowds and whether special events are occurring. Our first visit enjoyable, but frustrating due to the crowd. Our second visit was much more enjoyable.

I love going here to relax and get some peace of mind, especially when I'm upset. The sights, sounds, smells...they really calm you down and give you a real appreciation for life!

Simply beautiful in the fall. Lover's Leap is the best area for views or to rest and grab some refreshments.

Take the rock bridge to Lovers Leap . Kids like to jump up and down and make the swing bridge bounce uncomfortably.
