Known for its downstairs speakeasy night scene, the restaurant upstairs is chic nyc. Never really been impressed by the dinner , but the mixed drinks and desserts never miss the mark - 🍋 meringue 👌🏼
ACME is known for a great late night party, but their food is delicious any time of day! Try the miner's burger with a charcoal rub and check out their great wine list .
here for a late brunch ? you can't go wrong if you start by sharing a country toast and then go for the chicken and eggs . a bit of sweet with lots of delicious savory...
The chicken & egg dish as well as the fried green tomato special were excellent. Definitely try to make a reservation as this place became a scene by 8 pm on a Wed night.
Love! One of my fave brunch spots . The pastry basket is amazing to start off with, and the duck spinach salad is delicious, as is the lamb sandwich ! The ambiance and crowd is great too
Great place to go with a group. Plates are meant to be shared, so choose several and try a bit of everything! Fish tacos : two thumbs up.
I have so much love for this place. One of my favorite spots for dinner with friends. I don't understand why there are so many tips complaining about the food as I've never had one bad dish.
Sample the inventive Nordic cuisine of this Downtown hot spot. Seasonal specialties have included crispy salmon skin with cucumbers , oysters with celery broth and johnny cakes with braised pork . Zagat
the menu is delightful and playful yet very sophisticated.. come with an open mind and empty stomach. definitely sample the apps.. each so different and so good. my favorite was the Farmer's Eggs .
Loved the radishes , farmer's egg , and the tomatoes outshone the lobster in the entrée. Top it off with the super fresh tasting olive oil ice cream (better than the b&b porridge imho)!
Cozy up in a corner booth with whole grains (deep mushroom flavors), buffalo tartare , chicken & egg and the excellent cocktails--the vegetable-based drinks proved surprisingly balanced and flavorful
This is one of our favorite spots for Brunch . Our top picks are Endive Salad , Fried Duck Eggs , Pork Rillette, and the Bread Pudding Griddle Cake !
Very unique Scandinavian dishes. Raw section: try the foie gras/lobster combo. Steak and side of creamy mashed potatoes . Egg dish . Cool, laid back room with lots of spots to eat at the bar .
Come for drinks I only cause food sounds better than it tastes. Neon nights cocktail is a good twist on Pisco Sour $14.
Good new addition to my brunch rotation. Enjoyed my smoked salmon eggs Benedict , and the crispy smashed potatoes are phenomenal. Also of note: the apple griddle cake . Nomnom.
Great vibe, decent cocktails , and a chic space.
An absolutely delicious meal.. Split the chilled melon soup , raw vegetables , and country bread with peaches with a friend. Delicate and sophisticated; filling and yummy.
Went for dinner with a few friends. Great service, great food. Expect to spend a decent amount of money. Would recommend going in a group or even a date.
Everything is delicious, but especially the Brussels sprouts . Pasta portions MIGHT be considered a tad small for some people, so consider getting an app first
Great plates for sharing -- try the spare ribs and the chicken & eggs . Also has a great scotch selection .
Good food with fresh ingredients . Really liked the butternut squash and the baked rigatoni .
Great and awesome place! The best part is... Not bumping into a 5 page menu. Simple, unique and tasty
Came here for brunch and had the Pineapple Sage Bellini . It was delish: lightly herby and sweet but not too sweet. The scrambled eggs were great too...creamy in a good way.
We only came for drinks, but we dined next to Whoppi Goldberg and Sarah Jessica Parker, so I think it's safe to say that this restaurant is a true gem of NYC.
Oak and Pine dessert is the best dessert I've ever had. I have died and gone to heaven with it. Mackerel and truffle pie is a close second.
Everything we ordered at brunch was crave-worthy. Bendict w/ house cured salmon , pork sandwich , smashed potatoes - yum. Indulge with the Danish "doughnuts " well worth it.
Welcome to the inner sanctum. We're not in Cajun country anymore. Order everything, repeatedly, but above all do not miss the bread pudding dessert thing. DO NOT MISS. #ACMEWIRE
Excellent vibe, fun drinks! The oysters were great! Also enjoyed their downstairs bar as it was moody and dark
with the decor here, vintage feels classically brand new. the chicken and eggs change the way my tastebuds view staple food items.
The beer and bread porridge for dessert is the way to go. Served with a scoop of ice cream , it's perfect flavors, temperatures, and consistencies.
Eat the Truffle Parfait for dessert-even if you think it sounds weird. It is so worth it! I've never tasted anything like it.
Critics' Pick winner of The Village Voice Best of NYC 2012 Best Salted Caramel Use!
Can only speak to the early weekday atmosphere downstairs, which is so ace. Yummy cocktails
The hottest spot in town . The food is very good, make sure you pay attention to specials, usually they are spectacular.Sit by the bar to get whole ACME experiance
Excellent pasta and cocktails . The butternut squash appetizer is also great.
Try the new Russian cocktail with pear-infused zubrowska! Chicken and eggs was great, and the new Pine dessert is a must.
The fried artichoke and acme burger were excellent
Excellent spot! Drink: My Fair Lady. Apps: Country Toast , Pearl Barley + Clams (a must). Entree: Maine Lobster . Side: Creamy Potatoes
The lines are long and the bouncers are picky at Acme, but once you’re inside the double-decker restaurant-and-lounge you’ll forget all about the wait.
Reopened in 2012 with everything different but the name. Small menu with contemporary American dishes. Lively environment but not too loud . Fashionable waitstaff (3 of 4 petals via Fondu) Read more
Chicken and eggs , black barley , and cauliflower were great. Bartenders and cocktails even better!
Make sure to get a table in back. The plates are meant for sharing. The chicken and eggs are great.
Foxy, grilled asparagus and slow-cooked cod are highly recommended. A bit overprice but service is very good and decor is nice
Unbelievable beer and bread porridge with caramel ice cream . Make sure you save space for that!
One word: overrated. Disclaimer: I had high expectations from the co founding chef at Noma. Caveat: the beer and bread porridge and doughnuts are really delicious. (2 of 4 petals via Fondu) Read more
The beer pudding is a complex combination of flavours. Well worth trying
Place has definitely gotten a lot better recently. Great meatballs and fish for dinner .
Not really southern but very nice. Loved the langoustines and foi gras dish. Had to order seconds!
clam and barley , country toast , chicken and egg , beer and bread porridge , fresh strawberries , all to die for
My new happy place. Incredible Burgundy wine list , great food.
Primito cocktail is smoky and delicious. Passed hors d'oeuvres at the party included tasty skirt steak in pistachios. Great atmosphere, too! Will definitely be back. - Monica Cullen
Amazing Service. Spectacular food. Great Prices. Oh, and $5 desserts. - Jens Astrup
I really like this brunch spot: seafood oysters seafood oysters Bloody Mary. - Ronald Cattrysse
