Beautiful, did a great job of incorporating different cultures. Very clean for as large as the garden is. However, if your looking for a nice place to roam on a budget, this is not the place.
San Diego Botanic Garden, formerly know as Quail Botanical Gardens , is FREE the 1st Tuesday of each month. Parking is $2. Once you go you'll want a membership! We certainly get a lot of use of ours!
This is a great spot for macro photography . Try to go early while the marine layer is still overhead which will give you more diffuse and even lighting for your chosen subjects.
With 37 acres of garden , find peace walking through the trails of the San Diego Botanic Garden in North County . Kids will love the giant tree house and play area including a running stream .
Refinery 29:...peaceful place to interact with the great outdoors...37-acres. Picnic tables , four miles of garden trails , an abundance of exhibits , delightful gift shop...picture of tranquility.
So fun and lovely to talk around and explore. I do wish there were more signs identifying plants.

The children's garden has man fun play areas for small children a stream to play with rubber ducks music and a treehouse
Unexpected place for lots of kid activities , complete with a large treehouse and a small stream to run boats along.
Great place for the whole family! They have nice private events also!
This place is a great place to bring kids for a few hours, get a membership, its worth every dime.
