A beautiful part of the park - just don't go on the first weekend of spring/summer weather. It will be overrun.
Possibly the most relaxing place on earth. Plus, in the summer, it's basically a pseudo-beach. Just be careful -- you never know when an errant softball, football or frisbee will come flying at you.
While it may be crowded in the summer, it's the perfect escape from the crazy that is NYC.
The Great Blizzard of 1947 had a record-breaking snowfall with a total of 26.4 inches (67.1 cm) in Central Park . If there were any zombies in the park that day, they were buried for sure!

Kodak moments at the turtle pond ! Look for the wafels and dinges truck too for awesome liege waffles !
Great place to see a band. Memorable ones for me included Simon and Garfunkel and more recently (2011) the Black Eyed Peas
