The food is great here, but is nearly cancelled out with their extreme inability to handle and sort of crowd. Do not bother coming here after 4 pm on the weekend, unless you don't mind waiting 2 hrs.
My wife and I wound up here after a long 5-hour hike and couldn't have loved it more. The berry chicken salad , schnitzel and spaetzle are top notch. Service is so friendly too
One of my favorite foods is a yummy hot pretzels with delicious cheese or mustard sauce . This is a great place to go eat after a day of hiking at Minnewaska or Mohonk. Be sure to make reservations .
Excellent - Authentic German food , served in a small old restaurant that same was it has been for many years. I drive over an hour to get to Mountain Brauhaus because the food is so good!
Schweinhaxe is amazing. Reservations are a good idea because it's so popular. Bring your appetite!

Chicken jäger schnitzel and spatzle make an excellent (and huge) meal. Rouladen was ok, but not my fav. Lots of German beer on tap !

The food was good. But we waited for it almost 2 hours. Then we had to eat in 5-10 minutes to get back to the city .

I tried to eat here 3 times. Each time the wait was 1 1/2 hrs or more. Each time I end up finding somewhere else in town and finish my meal before the table would be ready. Smells good inside though.
