Henry B. Plant Museum

Welcome to the historic 1891 Tampa Bay Hotel , now the University of Tampa. There's plenty of history to explore at this beautiful building. Stop by Tues-Sat, 10 a.m.–5 p.m., or Sunday, 12–5 p.m.

Has a self-guided audio tour with lots of in-depth info, but can be a bit long with lots of standing and staring. Great if you love local history!

I love this place! I love wondering how does it like back in time, when it was the famous Tampa Hotel . My husband and I decided to have our wedding photo shoot at the museum´s gardens and lobby! ;)

Magnificent Moorish architecture , opulent furnishings, and tropical gardens , a visit to the restored rooms of the former Tampa Bay Hotel , will transport you to Victorian splendor.

Quaint little exhibit , worthwhile but can be done completely in two hours. $2 for the guided tour is a good investment.
