The perfect place for children under 10 to explore ! With over 150 activities and 12 themed areas, it's easy to spend an entire day here. There's even a water play area , which is great in the summer!
On any day, but especially a rainy one, kids love it here! A museum where hands on activity is encourage and is a must! Run through the fountains outside or be a firefighter inside. It's playtime!
Very clean , many employees supervising the areas.my kids ages 2,6,8,12 all equally enjoyed it!
Some of our favorites include 'the farm ' and 'the hospital ' with their interactive displays. We were fortunate to catch the Wizard of Oz traveling exhibit and come back often for new exhibits .
Such a fun place for the young kids in Tampa! Much better that it's older version and nice location. RiverWalk is so close that we took our grandchildren on a hike after the visit.
Loved it! Very similar to explorations v in Lakeland, but Glazer is much more up to date with more to do!
Definitely not a relaxing place to go and watch the kids play. Adult interaction is required! But it is a really nice place, lots of fun for all ages!
For the 1st Tuesday of every month until March 2012, admission is $2 from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. Your kids will love both the museum and the playground just outside in Curtis Hixon Park .
Such a fun place for kids to explore and learn. Best museum in Tampa Bay .
Kids love it and want to stay all day long! We went for two hours before closing and they were begging for more fun!
Membership for the year is only $20.00 so great option for rainy days or when we just want to do something indoors. Definitely worth it!
The is a wonderful place for imaginative play for kids young and small! Extremely interactive for children and their parents. Tampa is lucky to have it. :)
Great staff , everyone was very attentive and friendly . Love the hands on learning and the demonstrations.
Get a year membership , this place is great during the middle of the summer!
Little pricey so make sure you find some coupons around the city hotels and travel info spots.
Your Great Explorations Children's Museum great membership gets you in free all year!
Good for little kids only.. felt much more like a big play ground than an actual science/learning center.
Love it! So clean and the staff is so helpful.
Great museum for adults also plan on a few hours there
Extremely busy! It was hard to keep up with both children (ages 1&5). Many areas were for 3 and under or 3 and over. I wouldn't suggest eating there. We had to share a table with another family.
Great experience. I enjoyed it.
Great place to bring kids any age
The summer camps are fun and informative :)
Egg Hunt this Saturday (early) morning. :) We will be there!
Great place for children's birthday parties. :)
Supervising your child is necessary. It's a museum - not a day care!
Get an annual passport. You'll get your money's worth and more!.
Birthday parties at the museum are a blast!!
This place is going to be pretty awesome when it opens in September!
Annual pass is way to go.
It was so fun
was disappointed that the museum subway was closed nearly an hour before the museum was due to close. :/
What kind of place charges admission for any child over the age of 1? Ridiculous.
Try not to step on the kids!
Not worth it for a 5 year old. Maybe for younger kids.
This place stinks. Waste of money.
Overrated playground . Skip it.
Muy bueno, lo recomiendo no sólo para los niños, sino para toda la familia . El idioma no fue obstáculo para la diversión.
Ring the doorbell. Staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Amazing experience. - Michael Rotgers
Loved this place! Amazing all the story about it. Would visit it again next time in Tampa. - Juan Mentucci
Great dog park on the water in downtown Tampa with lots of activities and things to do...great food nearby too! Urban cantina was only two blocks away :) - Chris Rivas
I like the white pizza (Bianca) and the veggie pizza, always have a hard time deciding between the two. Love stopping here for a quick slice or two or ordering a pie to go. Best pizza around - Ca Ba
Fun playground right on the waterfront. Beautiful views and so fun for the kids. - Justin Lisenby
