Harry's New York Bar

Red leather booths and wooden bar at Harry 's Bar New York date back to the early 20th century. Hemingway and Sartre drank here; George Gershwin composed "An American in Paris" on the piano upstairs

This bar is mythic. Best cocktails in town and bar tenders know their stuff by heart. Alcohol is a serious thing here : only the best ones. Come to visit the place where bloody marry has been created!

The cocktails are overpriced but very well made. As the bar that invented many famous drinks, it's a must visit. Great decor and surprisingly few American tourists .

Love this bar . Been here 3 times in 3 trips but there is always one drunk American to ruin it. Also no Santa Clara University banner so take one if you go! I keep forgetting.

Great place to go to set the tone for your trip to Paris. Very cozy , and authentic . It's easy to make believe it's 1930 in here.

Their Bloody Marys , French 75s or Sidecars are peerless—as well they should be, as these drink recipes were invented here.

Very good drinks, a bit overpriced. But the icing on the cake is the fact that here are mouses . Everywhere... so be careful, it could be under you seat.

Try the "Harry 's Pick Me Up" cocktail . It's one of the originals & makes for a great apperatif.

Best cocktails invented here are Harry 's pick me up, boulevardier and French 75.

This place had his peak many years ago. The drinks are decent but fairly overpriced. If you want perfectly mixed classic cocktails in a touristic environment it's alright. Don't expect innovation.

Nice bar on the -1 floor but really slow and unfriendly service. If you ask 16€ for a cocktail make sure to have a nice presentation

Maybe a good cocktail bar but the old barman is an absolute unpolite and aggressive Parisian....

The Bloody Mary is good, but quite spicy . If you're not a fan of spicy , you'll enjoy another cocktail more.
