Abernathy Greenway Park and Playground

A very robust play park which I'm growing fonder of with each visit. Word of warning, younger children will require strong supervision as the structures are constructed of solid steel & concrete.

Best for kids 5+. It's beautiful and unique. Very level - great for strollers & wheelchairs. Lovely covered pavilion with large, clean bathrooms .

Best for kids 4 and up...a very untraditional playground comprised of 5 or 6 playable art structures . Most evenings the ice cream truck pulls up to the east end of the park .

Not designed with safety in mind. Hard granite structures with holes in the middle of them for children to fall thru. Yellow thing you climb a 6-foot ladder to hole or slide down and risk falling.

Great place to exercise & meet new people. Great place to go to clear your head.

Small but mighty. Kids had a good time. Minimal amenities but no issues!

Great place to have a picnic . They have bathrooms here as well .
