Morgan Falls Overlook Park

An awesome hidden gem ! If your dogs like water, go down the hill from the paddle shop to the dog park , and the river is right across!!

The dog park is hard to find. Once in the park turn left down the rocky road and go past the dam area and bare left... Dog park is on the left

Nice park especially for parents w young kids. Shade arches over play sets. Clean restrooms . Huge pavilion for parties. Lake is gorgeous. Beautiful gem hidden in Sandy Springs

Takes a minute of winding driving to get there, but once there, it's beautiful. Make sure to reserve pavilion space if you need it.

Great place for small get-togethers. Also for children to play in a nice ,big play area . Spend some nice time with swings overlooking the lake .

Nice place to learn about hydroelectric power for the nerds and there's a dog park , too.

Did you know? The dam at Morgan Falls Park was built in 1904, originally to provide power to Atlanta’s streetcars. Today it provides power to about 4400 homes.

There is a leash off dog park down the hill from the kids park with separate areas for dogs above and below 25 pounds.

Bring cold water, a hat and sunscreen . Beautiful park .

Park equipment pretty hot when the sun is out. No trees to provide shade. Come when sun is going down.
