True gem in Charlotte! If you have never been then put it on your short list. Great fresh and local food. There will be great locally made gifts through Christmas .
Looking forward to Kenny Baxter from Cherryville to bring all those homegrown tomatoes ...He always sets to price for fresh tomatoes ...Try his heirloom tomatoes also...
Definitely go on a Saturday at around 9:30-10:30. All vendors are there and there's even an arts and crafts area.
If you love cheese , find the folks from Ashe County-their cheese is off the charts! New manager is planning to make vendors move around so stay in touch with your favorites!
Start off your Saturday with an early morning run to the daddy of all area farmers markets . They have baskets of shiitake mushrooms , dinosaur kale or limbertwig apples . Read more
Very fresh and good lot of everything from different vendors .
Saturday mornings are best for selections. Plus Ms. Gisella's pickles are the best in the world!
Arrived around 1 and it looked like a lot of stalls had already left. I'd say get there earlier than that.
Visit A Little Taste of Heaven. She has the best cheddar jalapeno garlic biscuits !
Beautiful flowers ! Micro greens are divine.

Fresh & Fantastic
Bring cash. Make sure you save $10 for a huge bouquet of gorgeous flowers .
Best place to get fresh produce on a Saturday
Bring cash or check. There's no ATM on site.
Local fresh produce and goods
the best deals on plants and local veggies ! avoid the craft shack
Unlike Matthews market , doesn't seem to require vendors to grow their own food or for it to come from within a certain distance.
Check out the Secret Chocolatier 's truffles , Proffitt's beef and Grateful Grower 's bacon . Best food around.
Prices cheaper during weekdays but more vendors on Saturday.
Best day for local growers and artisans is Saturday morning. Resellers are mainly during the week.
Somehow ended up paying 14-some dollars for a sandwich and a bottle of water. Tasty and "organic ," but not worth that price.
There is nothing Farmer friendly about this place. All food is GMO and NOT a single organic offering. All drinks have High Fructose Corn Syrup . What a joke.
If you say it's too expensive to eat healthy, you haven't bought your fruits , veggies & legumes here. No excuses.
I got my favorite Bonsai Tree here!
Come see it for yourself
Check out the candles in the craft building! Smells amazing!!!
A must visit
On Saturday's get there early. Vendors start to wrap things up around noon.
This is nothing like the Greensboro farmers market . Highly disappointing
Get fresh Silver Queen corn & cucumbers !
Check out the chocolatier in the first building!
Nothing beats fresh
Fresh vegetables ...
The best in fresh fruits and veggies !
