Friedrich II. beauftragte den Bau eines separaten Gebäudes in unmittelbarer Nähe zu Schloss Sanssouci zur Unterbringung von Teilen seiner Gemäldesammlung. In prachtvoll geschnitzten und vergoldeten Rahmen präsentiert sie sich in dem ältesten erhaltenen fürstlichen Museumsbaus Deutschlands.

The real deal. Much more interesting than Sanssouci. Don't forget: to take pictures, you have to pay three euros at the entrance of Sanssouci and wear a little bracelet.
Weiteres tolles historisches Gebäude im Park Sanssouci. Nicht so überlaufen wie das Schloss selbst. Hier kann prima eine Pause machen und die Natur genießen.
Wer mit Gemälden wenig anfangen kann, wird sicher seine Freude an der prachtvollen Architektur haben.
