The menu is great! Phenomenal French Toast w Caramelized Bananas - share it. When you arrive, put your name down on the clipboard then run across the street for a cappo at Ella's Uncle while you wait.
The staff are just beyond nice. Yes there is always a line but once you are seated you never feel rushed so it’s work the wait. Always order the hot apple cider , it’s the best in the city .
Great place for brunch , get there early as there's always a queue. They have lots of vegetarian options , and interesting specials. The smoothies are delicious.
Whoa, worth the wait. Come in a little bit earlier to avoid the long line . Waffles with blueberry jam and pickled jalapeños were delightful. Fresh orange juice .
Superb little local cafe one of the best brunches I have ever had. Super tasty food, freshly prepared and it feels like a local’s little secret, so glad to have accidentally found it.
One of my favourite brunch spots ! Often long wait but worth it for a unique menu with fresh ingredients made with love. Menu changes all the time but I've liked every dish I've had here.
Really amazing French toast - I would absolutely go again for that. I also liked the glass noodles dish but it wasn’t my favourite
They got a new tablet system to hold a table. Much more efficient. Always pick a special... love the sweet breakfast options .
Today's special, baked eggs and Gruyere was delicious. Again, expect a wait to both sit and to get served. But delicious!!
Try the Ottoman Empire poached eggs and Quesadilla . Small place and long line-ups but you will leave this place happy.
Skip your bacon and eggs and enjoy the savory french toast with gruyere and apple slices . Make sure there's a house nearby with a couch you can nap on afterwards, though.
It's really good, but the attitude soured the experience for me. I've had better experiences all around. Head up the street to L'Ouvrier where they have great food and are lovely.
They're right. The french toast with caramelized bananas is to die for. Get it if you're craving sweet breakfast/brunch.
Guaranteed lineups on weekends. Sign you're name on the clipboard if there's a line . Don't forget to check the blackboard for specials!
The French toast really is the best. Try the espressado - avocado espresso milkshake basically, it's amazing
French toast with caramelized bananas doesn't disappoint. Super delicious. Crazy heavy though :p!
Food was really good. The waiting time for brunch was way too long. We waited an hour and a half to get a table. Would recommend going around 1 for brunch .
Absolutely worth the wait. Best French toast I’ve ever had.
Take a walk at the park nearby while waiting to have your name called for brunch . Definitely worth the wait
Avocado espresso smoothie is good and works well together....just doesn't do it for me :(
If they have the Coconut French Toast , get it for sure! It is the absolute best!
Put your name on the list and have a coffee on the sunny patio a couple of doors down while you wait for a table.
Charmingly urban-bohemian atmosphere with fusion-homestyle food served on an array of mismatched ceramics. Fun, eclectic decor . Perfectly located for a picturesque, intimate brunch . Read more
The espressado (espresso avocado milkshake ) is great! The Rajasthani eggs are nice, spicy and filling.
Unbelievable french toasts w/ caramelized bananas . Arrive early on Sundays for brunch .
Favourite brunch spot in the city . Staff are really lovely too.
Big and delicious portions but avoid Sunday brunch at 12 - line was almost an hour long
Two french toast options. One sweet, one savory, both very good! Like any good brunch spot , get there early!
Come early and make sure you remember to put your name on the list hanging beside the door. Line ups are usually long starting right at 11am.
The French Toast w/caramelized bananas is fantastic. Wash it down with their awesome coffee .
Buy yourself a decent coffee at Ella's Uncle to have with your bunch at Saving Grace, where the coffee is terrible. They'll charge you $0.50 for bringing your coffee in -totally worth it.
The espresserado is a must!
French toast with carmelized bananas will change your life
Egg Chilaquila is just breakfast nachos - if that sounds good, get it, otherwise try the quesadillas .
Pancakes were good but small. Waffle itself was bland, but the custard was very good. Sausages salty.
Try the Rajastani Eggs - Unique and yummy.
Best brunch in the city , but expect a loooooong wait. Order the Esspressado. Then order another.
Get here early - say, 930am latest for brunch if you don't want to wait!
The ricotta and pesto poached eggs are ????
Brunch is diverse and tasty, but a steam of willing customers seems to make the wait staff cranky and unfriendly - a shame.
The line goes away after 2 pm but you do pay to street park on Sunday.
Updated menu
Make sure you try the essperado!!
So far, the best breakfast in Toronto.
French toast with caramelized bananas = amazing.
Great specials. Home cooked .
They are now CLOSED on Sundays!
Try the French Toast W/ Caramelized Banana
Try the Savory French Toast with Gruyere and Apple Slices
Long wait for food, while others served first. Usually a line , minimum 20 minute wait. High expectations considering reputation, which were not met after coming twice
Absolutely perfect eggs florentine. Great service, great atmosphere. We love this place. - Mary Lynn Kitaura
Hidden gem in Liberty Village. The Chicken & waffles and Kail Caesar salad were fantastic! - Linda Hua
All day breakfast is good all day! Excellent bacon and sausage. Eggs cooked perfectly to order. - Greg Glatz
Coffee and pastries are good. It is a very small coffee shop. No comfortable table to put your book or laptop on, so not a perfect place to work. - Song-yi Lee
It’s big and has everything you want in a park. Dog unleashed area, kids playgrounds, and picnic tables. It’s rare to have a nice big park in the city of Toronto. - Catherine Wang
The architecture alone is worth coming. Add the view as well as the Group of Seven exhibits to make an enjoyable and worthwhile visit. To see everything more visits are needed. Seems great for kids. - Tania M Pollok
