Excellent place. Price reasonable. No guided tour , a quick 10 min interesting movie and then browse the colletiom - which is vast. Great gifts .
Neat building. That's about all. Difficult to read some of the displays because of the way the cases are situated. Save $8. SPOILER ALERT: the North won the war.
Costs $10 admission . Beautiful cypress wood architecture and cases. Lots of really neat artifacts , however most of the cases were hard to read due to some sort of distortion in the glass.
Very interesting place... but there's definitely a (black) "elephant" in the room which gets heavily talked around.
Make that 1 to 2 and half hours depending on how much you read the details, shop at store, rest and watch the video playing.
Worth going to if you are a Civil War person. Right next to the WWII museum .
Don't tell the clerk that, in retrospect, Lee really wasn't such a great general after all
Please bring a few extra dollars on top of your admission fee to donate to the museum . The donation jar is at the front desk.
Only 7 dollar admission . Small museum , an hour max touring
This place is awesome!
One of the best museums I've ever been to. The Road to Japan and Road to Berlin exhibits are so well done! Definitely plan to spend at least 4 hours here. - Rachel Rubin
Must see. Great air power planes of WW2. Huge space with many hanging in a hangar - Wayne Anderman
Top-notch presentation of Louisiana & New Orleans history⚜️. Get a discount if you do the other museums.???? - edisonv ????
Go here to see local artists represented. It's small enough to see everything in around an hour, absolutely worth it. Lovely building too. - Renae Mason
The Cochon Muffaletta was delicious! And I strongly recommend the marinated brussels sprouts! - Tiffany Larson
