Opened 1969. Classic French bistro food in a space with a solid wooden bar , dim lights and European inspired decor.

Brussel flakes are to die for coq-Au vin was delicious and the burger and truffle fries were fantastic. Love the vibe here. Great happy hour .

Great French Restaurante in LA. I had an excellent gnocchi and a good selection of draught beers . Portions are small as in any French joint.

One of my favorite places to go. The filet mignon is great, as well as the fish of the day. Also, the nutella and banana crepes are some of the best in LA.

Pretty romantic and they let you smoke outside. A perfect date spot .

I always switch between the penne a la vodka and the mussels depending on my mood. Both are amazing. Good cheese plate too.

Two words. Brussel sprouts ! Trust me! Especially if you hate Brussel spouts. Insane.

Have a few drinks and start up a conversation with the person sitting next to you. There are some very interesting people that frequent La Poubelle.

Smelly with trying-to-be-cool crowd. We are not in 2002 anymore, sorry people.

Every cocktail we ordered at happy hour was watered down with a ridiculous amount of ice. Will not be back anytime soon.
