Adam McKay, co-founder of Funny or Die (a 2011 Most Innovative Company), was also a founding member of this comedy club , whose alumni include Amy Poehler, Rachel Dratch, and Jack McBrayer.

If you want a show that will really make you laugh, do the Friday night improv musical at 11 p.m. If they can sing and improvise, you know they're good.

The Smokes are brilliant!, there's also a lot of great stand-up comedy .

Ive just moved to LA from NYC and I gotta know which UCB rocks more socks, and tells more violent jokes involving kittens . If you have to ask, you dont know...

If you're going for the free ASSSSCAT show @ 730 on a Sunday, get in line at least an hour early.

Parking is a BEAST. Plan at least an hour in advance. There's always the Bourgeois Pig for coffee or Birds for drinks and snacks right next door...or you could just catch an earlier show.

The Wedensday night Facebook show is my favorite. Monday night Harold teams are really funny. Thursday night Last Day of School and Convoy are so smart and funny.

Grab a six pack from Oaks Gourmet to drink in line and during the show.
