Even if ASSSSCAT is sold out weeks in advance online, come a few hours early and buy a ticket to any of their other improv shows. Add your name to the wait list, you'll very likely get in to the show!

Johnnie Walker

Great shows! Something different every time. - That's the nature of Improv. The Harold is an exciting format for Improv when done well . And lots of the teams do it well . You can't beat the price!

LA Weekly

Go see "Last Day of School" and "Convoy." for $5 at 11 p.m. on Thursdays - two of the most seasoned and reliably hilarious improv teams in town . Also offering affordable and excellent improv classes ! Read more

If there was one thing I could do all day every day, it would be to live in the UCB Theatre . By far the best experience you'll have out here in terms of comedy ,, improv, and theatre overall

Sofija Dutcher

Cheap or free entertainment 7 nights a week. Always amazing. And the best parking situation I've encountered. There's always a spot on the street.

qwertney

The 11:00 PM show on Thursday nights is a must-see: Convoy and The Last Day of School txt Message Show. Get your tickets early, because it sells out! Get there early, too!

Some of the sketches are hit and miss, but always a good time. Sometimes you'll get some really funny (and semi-famous) comedians!

Jeff Weinstein

Get there 30-45 minutes before your show to sit in the front. It's quietly BYO so pop over to Oaks Gourmet for a beer to bring in.

Jenna Gagnon

You really can't go wrong with the free Doug Loves Movies podcast tapings at 7:30 on Tuesday nights. Get in line early (usually starts forming around 5) and make an awesome name tag!

LA Weekly

UCB is always a great time! If you're looking for a laugh go see any show! Check out a student show and support them and their hard work.

Zach Behrens

If you want a show that will really make you laugh, do the Friday night improv musical at 11 p.m. If they can sing and improvise, you know they're good.

Johnnie Walker

The Smokes are brilliant!, there's also a lot of great stand-up comedy .

Michael Kalec

Love coming to this place. You can always see someone you know, or find new up and comers. Historic place.

Oded Rosenblum

Wednesday night Cagematch is never predictable, always a blast. For $5, it almost feels like you're sneaking in. You might want to come 30-45 minutes ahead so you can get a good seat. Also, parking is

Kelly D

ASSSSCAT is free every Sunday. Get in line by 6:30 for a decent seat. Don't park at Gelson's, but pop in to get some alcohol to take in with you.

Generally unfunny; failed to fill me with mirth when the world is crumbling all around.

Almost every show is funny. Love this place. Better than most movies .

Stephen Perlstein

Go see The Smokes, Every Monday at 7pm. Always great, only $5 bucks, arguably the best show UCB has. Seriously go.

Ive just moved to LA from NYC and I gotta know which UCB rocks more socks, and tells more violent jokes involving kittens . If you have to ask, you dont know...

Melissa Stefanini

If you're going for the free ASSSSCAT show @ 730 on a Sunday, get in line at least an hour early.

Corwin

Parking is a BEAST. Plan at least an hour in advance. There's always the Bourgeois Pig for coffee or Birds for drinks and snacks right next door...or you could just catch an earlier show.

melissa stetten

The Wedensday night Facebook show is my favorite. Monday night Harold teams are really funny. Thursday night Last Day of School and Convoy are so smart and funny.

Mark Dienger

Grab a six pack from Oaks Gourmet to drink in line and during the show.

Laugh cheaply! If you come on the first Wednesday of every month, it’s free!

Gary

Facebook night is every Wednesday & is a must. Always sells out. Buy tickets online @ http://losangeles.ucbtheatre.com/shows/913

Demeter Interactive

The Wednesday Facebook show is hilarious . Be careful what you post before you go!

Phoenix ????????????

Hilarious shows at reasonable prices

D C

Best improv on the west coast

Keith

Parking sucks, come 45 minutes ahead of showtime so you can find a space and get in line . Theater isn't well ventilated, on a crowded night you'll want to strip down to a t-shirt.
