Inside the gym , there are cold washcloths in a cooler. They feel absolutely great on a hot day (or after a workout or long day of travel, etc.)

Fantastic location. Great access to nearby attractions including special access to legoland .

Nice slow run: park here then west on Cannon 1.5 miles to the 101... then north or south for miles of ocean view ambling

Try and get a room in the first building, pref. 3rd floor otherwise be prepared to walk (& walk) to the pool.

Tiffany at front desk claimed that they don't honor Platinum late checkout because they're a resort / conference hotel even though I've never encountered this before at ANY SPG Resorts/Conf Hotels .

Ocean view is so-so at best (fog), IMO, the view of the Golf Course was as good if not better.

The spa is wonderful and so is the staff at the entire resort .

The gate to Legoland doesn't have open to 10am. Kids pizza for room service wasn't that great. Service here is great!

Walking distance to legoland and Outlet mall .

AVOID if you are a SPG Platinum guest. No upgrades, no late checkout , crap wifi , lame club lounge , curt service when complaining about it. No free breakfast in club lounge for kids under 18.

No SPG Elite upgrades. $24 in daily resort and parking fees...more if you valet...and fees still apply with the pool closed. Pretty poor value. Go elsewhere!!

Going for Legoland ? I recommend anywhere else. The staff was rude and unhelpful. The services were bad. Their claims for an early entrance to Legoland from their private gate are totally false. Fail.

Kids: watch for lizards in the landscaping.

Avoid, avoid avoid! No platinum up grade even when empty. Resort fee with out the resort . Pay parking . If you like the ripped off feeling this is your place.

club lounge is a major disappointment. Small room. Even the toaster us too small for the bread .

Service is pretty inconsistent. Some days good, some day pretty terrible.
