Cacio e pepe , obviously, but the capponatta is also a sleeper hit (with the table bread , of course). Slight preference for the service & al fresco seats at the Quiriti location, but still very good.
Fantastic Cacio e Pepe ! The best we had in Rome. They really nail the pepper flavor in the sauce, and the noodles were perfectly al dente . The house wine is a great value at 10 euro for the bottle.
Excellent local cuisine . Big portions and a great selection of wine list . Try carbonara !! You need a reservation . It is not centrally located, but worth the little distance
coratella (lamb’s heart lungs and liver ), coda alla vaccinara (braised oxtail ), and trippa alla romana (tripe stewed w tomatoes , mint , Pecorino Romano ). polpette di bollito and rigatoni alla carbonara
Service were good and they do half portions, amatriciana was one of the best I’ve ever had!cacio e Pepe and carbonara were just good and too salty. I think they undercook their pastas .
Wonderful place in Testaccio, coniglio was good, good wine selection , cozy environment . Prime minister had dinner here. I'll be back.
Guanciale , cacio, and chicory make lots of appearances at this Testaccio hit, and the chefs get bold with meat (oxtail takes many forms, and there’s a sublime suckling pig ).
A low key place to eat some well cooked Roman delights. Lots of locals and the odd tourists . Ever helpful staff .
Named by Slow Food founder Carlo Petrini as one of his favourite places to dine in Rome! Expect all the Roman classics as well as some fish dishes , which aren't quite as satisfying.
Real good and original Italian Restaurant ! (y) portions are big.
Pasta - cacio e pepe , better for lunch , recommended by Katie Parla
This was the best pasta I've tried in Rome ever
Very average food. Meat balls too Salty, rabbit very dry, pasta cacio e Pepe with flat flavors and we were on the terrace on a rainy day, too bad, ceiling is leaking. To sum up, not the best dinner !
For real Roman cooking and the company of other Romans, this is a perfect destination. Standouts include artichoke pasta and polpette di bollito , breaded and fried meatballs of beef and chicken .
Unfortunately this time we found Flavio's meatballs without meat, extremely hard puntarelle and the carciofo alla giudia too dark and too fried. Good wine , but out of our food list for now.. C'mon!
Best tonarelli cacio e pepe , great polopette and vegetable contorni.
Really nice waiter and traditional atmosphere ! Great roman food !
Got the ultimate carnivore dish. The wait staff is super nice
Authentic Roman food - absolutely delicious beef stew . However the staff were pretty inattentive.
Pastas are excellent and even the half-portions are plenty.
Really good diner , with delicious ravioli ! Nice place to go!
Very traditional Roman cooking at its best. Try the veal intestines!
Homemade pasta in all variations
Best macaroni ???? I wish we have like this place in our city ☝
Bon appetite: caciao e Pepe Andrew Zimmern: offal everything
The porchetta was amazing
Matriciana is amazing! Don't miss it!
Everything was refined and tastefull
I do like my pasta al dente , but this was just undercooked
Paste cacio e pepe was a bit tasteless. Meatballs too salty and rabbit stew was dry. Portions, however, are big.
Great food at affordable price . Carbonara is a must.
Get the Cacio e Pepe
Pasta time! Buon appetito ❤????????????
good homemade wine .
Gets busy and so service can be slow.
nice restaurant near the fake hill !
The best "Carciofi alla Judia" ever!
all good , service very slow.
Nice food. Bad service.
not as good as it used to be
The polpette al sugo and polpette di bollito are standout dishes! Read more
Awful service!!! Guys, you have so many regards! For what????...waiters don't speak English, no English menu, waiters don't hesitate to sit on a table near you and others come to them and talk aloud
Primitive food...
Cacio a pepe (karabiberli ve pecorinolu makarna ) yedim. Çok beğendim . Zaten öğlen yediğim süre boyunca iki yemek turu yapan rehber ve tur grubu geldi. Tavsiye edilir.
Ottima cucina tipicamente romana . Antipasto stacciatella di burrata con alici , Rigatoni alla gricia e tiramisù al bicchiere . Tutto perfetto!
Cacio e pepe and then tiramisu!! Thank me later! Ask the stuff about recommendations and wine!!! - Evita Chatzigeorgiou
good for dinner, or dinner/lunch on the weekends & Rigatoni alla Carbonara: Open Tuesday-Friday for dinner 19:30-23:30. Open Sat & Sun for lunch & dinner 13:00-15:30 and 19:30-23:30. Closed Monday. - Lauren
pPolpette di bollito (fried shredded beef), crochette di melanzane (fried eggplant croquettes) and gnocchi fritti (fried gnocchi with pecorino sauce). Gricia, carbonara, or rigatoni with oxtail sauce. - Elliott Poppel
There were 6 kinds of sandwiches and some other side dishes. Tasted 3 of them. They were all so good. Best for a quick and tasty meal. And also the introduction of is interesting and one of a kind. - Ender Aydın
Hands down one of the best gelato i had in Rome. Both the coffee and chocolate fondue flavours were divine. - Hay K
Very good.must see and a guide is a bonus worth paying for - Roxie Fog
