The private tour costs 9€ and is totally worth it! Our guide was this very nice and professional archaeologist. You get to ask questions and access places that are forbidden to other visitors. Lovely!

It’s amazing and beautiful. You can buy the tickets in advance with some agencies the which it helps a lot with the long lines , ask if they have entrance for the arena it’s totally worth it.

Get Roma pass to avoid the crowd. Place needs around an hour to check. Go to the second floor. Views r awesome. You will need to be dressed comfortably. Better visit in the afternoon to avoid the heat

The sheer size of the site is astonishing. A walking tour can give more details on the history and usage of the building, though I advice you to read the wikipedia article beforehand.

Go to take your tickets as normal way Don’t listen to tour guide out side they take 35 € !! And when you go there it’s only by 12 € and the audio by 5,5 € ( has all languages including Arabic ).

You have to do a guided tour . There is just so much to this place. We did the 3hr Dark Rome tour with the Palatine hill and it was great. Could definitely have spent lots more time though!

If you want to have a unique view from the underground and the third level, you can acquire the guided tour for an additional fee. You will learn a lot and will enjoy it. Worth it.

Get an audio guide, or read up on your Roman history. You could easily spend hours here. DO NOT fall for the sales pitches of “volunteers” outside. Get your ticket online and come back if you need to.

Absolute must see. Add it to your bucket list. If you go in the individual/single ticket line you'll wait over an hour. If you go in with a tour group you get right in. No wait.

Everytime Im in Rome I have to go to the colosseum. It's big and beautiful and lot of history. After you have been here you should go over to the forum and get the full roman experience. Book tickets.

Very beautiful structure . It is a must see in rome. Keep in mind not to fill water bottles with alcohol . They make you dump your water before entering the structure .

Photos show how beautiful it is but seeing it with your own eyes is another story! We entered via Imperial Forum and were the only ones, no waiting, no excessive security queue, excellent! :)

Book your entrance ticket online for 2 Euros extra to skip the long queue. Remember to book in advance as well for underground tour if you're interested. Keep watch of your possessions around the area

Audio guide is a bit basic. Great to see and imagine the history. Go early and beat the crowds and heat. Roma pass sometimes has a queue but it speeds up after the metal detectors.

This is one of the places "must to see"! You can buy a combined ticket which is 12€ (2017) or reduced price 7.50€ for students and older people. I like it ????????

Great sights of Roman history, amazing place to visit with family and friends. Amazing and breathtaking history right in front of your eyes, a must see place at least once in your life.

About 2hrs should be enough unless you want to sit and take in the atmosphere. The newly opened top floors will offer an amazing view although cost extra

I suggest early morning tours before 10am and bring your selfie stick because your going to take allot of pictures. I used the city tour which bypassed the long lines well worth it.

About 100 meters after the Arc de Triomphe there is a side entrance to the Forum Romanum. There you can also buy tickets for the Colosseum or reserve your entry time without having to wait so long.

Booked a tour with ‘City Wonders’ very professional and organized group. Informative tour . The tour is allowed to go to the colosseum floor (which is open for limited amount of people)

If you're taking the tour bus , make sure to be sitting on the upper deck and get your cameras ready as the bus approaches the Colosseum. Simply breathtaking!

Tickets are only 12€ and you also get access to The Forum and the Ruins AND it's also good for the next day. It's not necessary that you go on a guided tour , but you do get extra info.

Combined tickets for the Forum, Palatinus and for the Colosseum. Reserving tickets on the Internet not worth it. In the morning the reservation row sometimes longer than the onsite ticket row.

A must see on any tour of Rome. If you can, get a skip the line or a behind the scenes tour , you get a special experience and miss a lot of the other tourists .
