One of the most authentic izakaya experiences outside of Japan I've ever had. I'm somewhat of a regular, even though it's a long way from my place. Friendly staff , good food, and real Japanese beer .
The only real izakaya in America's 4th largest city , Izakaya Wa has a great selection of beers and actually has Japanese beer on tap . Traditional izakaya fare (all the "yaki" things) are great.
Authentic preparations of good quality fish . The place is cozy and the prices are extremely fair . A rare find in Houston, where you have to pay top dollar for anything other than California rolls !
This was my first time here and it was a great choice. staff is super friendly . The place is very clean and the food was incredible.
Filet mignon grilled skewer were DELICIOUS! Very simple, salt and pepper , but the tastiest meat I had in a long time. Memorial roll was very tasty too. Staff is so friendly . Can't wait to come back
Plastic in the curry , but they comped that dish and the dessert , which was nice. There were some great things about this restaurant and some lousy ones.
Skydiver roll is incredible. Both the filet mignon and scallop skewers are fan favorites.
This place is legit! Try the memorial roll and get skewer .
Very authentic . I felt like I was in Tokyo. Caviar roll is excellent
Excellent and authentic ! Try the skewers - delicious! We will be back...
Lunch combos available Mon-Sat, great value .
Try the Kawahagi. So good! Sushi is always fresh, and the food is delicious!
Great authentic Japanese food at a reasonable price!
Fried quail eggs , grilled scallops and the agedashi tofu were good!
Get the squid !
Excellent yakitori !
It was okay. Quite expensive for the portions given. Most of the food we ordered wasn't delicious either. A real disappoinment.
DO NOT EAT HERE! My wife and I were not seated because our 5 month old was in a stroller. After stating that the stroller collapsed to a baby carrier, we were still not seated.
IT was ok!
The Kanaccio is a must! Their signature roll Kuu is really good as well. - Fernando Gil
One of the best Japanese restaurants I've been to in Houston, and also one of the most inexpensive! - Miriam Goldman
The pan fried dumplings were tasty (4/5), but lacked the crunch of the perfect pan-frying. - Ed
Best of all the Memorial area Starbucks in service, room for hanging out or business meetings. Easy location to get in and out of. - Michael Eyre
