Munch on stunning eats like fried chicken karaage , creamy rock shrimp tempura , and spicy salmon maki ; then wash it all down with a few seasonal martinis or hot sake and ice cold Japanese beers . Read more
The elegant interior is a stunner, and the food is seafood-forward, delicate and creative. Head there for an omakase dinner with wine pairings from operations manager and sommelier Ricky Cheung. Read more
Ricky is a fantastic host-- always ready with food, wine and (my most recent) Japanese whiskey recommendations! Sit at the sushi bar -- interacting with Chef and team is best experience! Food amazing!
The Kuu Roll is the best roll you will ever taste. I'll put it up against anyone - simply the best - Cary Michael Cox
Pretentious without being amazing. But do get dessert , because you should experience semi-fluid gel for yourself.
Great tasting specialty rolls . Very different combinations so come curious and hungry!
Fresh fish . Regular changes to the menu and good Sake .
Great sushi , in my view better than Uchi. Try Hamaccio, Toban yaki, Kanpaccio, Hamachi nigiri .
"Moderately cheap " is inaccurate. It's tapas style sushi with each plate $16-20. Plan for a large bill. That being said, it was delicious.
The best Happy Hour ever, the sushi is amazing!!!
Everything I had lacked a little flavor. The Uni was tasty but the rest of my nigiri (ikura , fatty salmon and hamachi ) were bland. The same can be said for my cold dish and makemono.
The Kanaccio is a must! Their signature roll "Kuu" is really good as well .
I've eaten at a LOT of sushi restaurants . This place is sushi heaven.
Monday happy hour rocks, so as the collection of Hitachino beer .
Great little spot for some innovative Japanese cuisine!
The duck is extremely small. I was served four pieces on a big plate . The food covered less than half the plate.
Everything.
Great sushi ????
Good but a little bit pricey
Beats Uchi hands down!
Awesome sushi
This was my first time here and it was a great choice. staff is super friendly. The place is very clean and the food was incredible. - Daddy Bear
I highly recommend the curry udon as well as all the non-sushi Japanese fare! You can't beat the prices either! Oyako don and the soba are other favorites. - Andres Novoa
Order a variety of dishes and eat family style. Ham and eggs, eggplant, brussel sprouts are a must. - John
