It's the best one out of the Academy venues and there's now a bar in there too at the back
Seems to be the most "chatty" of the Academy venues . Quite a long room makes it difficult to judge best spot between the hardcore at the front and the scenesters chatting at the back.
Great space. Great bar with decent prices.
Decent, small-ish size venue. Good sound and average priced drinks. Downside - Nazi production & security who won't allow SLR cameras to be used, but allow them in as no bag checks. Go figure!
Drink copious amounts of alcohol , get wrecked and prepare to rock!!!
Rubbish full of scenesters who just talked all the way through the gig :(
Fantastic variety of music on offer - cheap parking next door, and Kro bar cross the road for pub food! - Tastebuds
This is where they put the smaller bands on. Can be wonderfully intimate - probably my favorite Academy venue. Red Stripe in cans a bonus - Phat Buoy
