So good it ain't funny. Go there to eat and there's no telling who you might run into. I usually go for the greens(collards or turnips ), candied yams , fried corn , green beans , fried or baked fish .

Go on a Friday or Saturday night. Busier, but better food. Old standby is the Greek chicken breast with mac & cheese , collards , and lemon icebox pie . Can't be beat.

This place was hopping. Michael our table server was lightning fast and friendly . He was always available and had our refills before we needed to ask. The food was great, well seasoned, good portions.

You can't go wrong with the good southern style cafeteria food here. It tastes great and service is always fast and efficient.

When I want some good ole soul food and corn bread , this is the spot! I love there cheese cake too

My first time coming here and my only complaint is it was crowded . The food was marvelous the sweet tea was amazing ???? the service was above average

Classic Birmingham eatery . Everything is great here, just make sure you know what you want when you get to the head of the line ! Try to get there early to beat the rush.

Had breakfast . Gravy for the biscuits was great and breakfast came with a super fresh cinnamon roll .

The nanner pudding was like the kind granny used to make. Hot and with the creme topping with the burned edges. In a word-AMAZING!

..can't do it. I have friends that have died from Cancer. To deny a person with a breast cancer shirt whose friend died is not worth another trip.

The stewed tomatoes as seen on Bizarre Foods America are awesome and I hate tomatoes otherwise.

Make sure if your in a party of 5 or more you let them know or they will rudely let you know that you did not !!! We failed to see the sign and was not so politely told from now on to let them know

Good southern food

Second time going and I have to say it wasn't the greatest.tje only thing I really like was the bread . Don't think I will return.

Service sucks. They push you like cattle through the line . I will NOT be back.
