The park is free to visit during the day if you don't want to visit the museum . Wifi access is free and fast, too. So this makes for a good spot to relax, enjoy the views , and get some work done.

Honestly paying for the museum and to go to the top of the statue isnt really worth the $7. But the park is a nice stroll and has a great view of Birmingham . Good place for a picnic on a nice day.
The museum was nice and interesting. They observation tower has a great view !! But beware that the observation tower floor is grated and you can see through it.
Beautiful hidden gem , but don't look straight down when on the viewing platform ! Only $4 a person.

On July 4th, Vulcan Park & Museum will be open to the public @ 10am and close @ 6pm. At this time, the entire park grounds and parking lots will be cleared out and closed for safety purposes. Read more

The Statue of Liberty equivalent of Birmingham. I recall stellar fireworks behind Vulcan on 4th of July.
It served as a reminder of traffic hazards lifting a red light whenever there had been a fatal traffic accident and green if none during the day.

Go at night and park in the back parking lot . Hop over the gate and the perfect benches await you.
Get up in the Vulcan for $6...$3 between 6pm til 10pm. The view is gorgeous. There"s also a museum and gift shop .

Went when there was a Pokémon Go event and it was awesome. Me and my boyfriend will always remember it. The koi pond was my favorite. Even etched our initials into a bamboo stalk. Best day date tops - Brandon Alexander
Loved the pineapple jalapeño (although it is red pepper flakes and not japs). The watermelon is amazing :) The avocado was good to taste but couldn't eat the whole thing! This place is awesome!!!! - Ashley B.
