Nymphenburg Palace

I loved the frozen lake and the view of all the birds and especially swans(!) which were all gathered in a corner where the water was not frozen

Large open spaces to walk. Dogs, joggers, etc welcome. October 4, not packed with tourists ! Takes couple hours to walk through the main exhibit , stables , hunting lodge . 9euro for combined ticket .

There are better palaces in Europe but its a must see location for Munich travel. Botanic garden and this palace will be a good combination for a visit.

This is a not to miss Munich attraction . If you don't want to do the tour ... Just walk the grounds an gardens an have lunch at the Cafe . It's a wonderful experience.

Huge castle just in the middle of the town . If you are in mood for a walk in a park , you can go there, its free and they got a nice cafe !

Spare yourself some time for sitting in the back garden . The front garden with ducks in the lake looked miserable during my visit in July

It is an amazing castle from the outside. The gardens are beautiful but the inside tour it is really poor. You can't see a lot of rooms and a ticket costs 6€!

Such a beautiful castle , loved the fest hall... Have some cash with you for entrance since they don't accept credit cards for amounts under 50 EUR.

Quiet touristy , but not to be missed. Start at the "Jagdschlösschen" and walk along the canal .

Astonishing views . Nice pond with lots of ducks, swans and other birds.

Even though it looks huge, there isn't a lot to see with the palace ticket -- takes about an hour.
