This is very nice and beautiful place to visit in Munich. If possible, take a whole day to visit the Residenz, Treasury and theater ! I spent 5h and missed the Theater !
Great museum , well organised, with lots of artifacts , which include the relics of some saints. But it is huge! And a lot tiring. In order to see everything, you will be standing/walking for about 3hrs
one of the top 10 must visit places in Munich! you can show your entrance ticket at the front desk to get an english audio guidance throughout the residenz!
A must when in Munich, the beauty is astounding. Dont forget to grab an audio guide when visiting the residenz and the treasury , the theatre is pretty but not worth it.
Enter to watch the courtyards of the structure . Visit the interior and the treasure of the princes of Bavaria ! There is also a small pretty church with entrance to the east.
Home to the rulers of Bavaria from 1508 to WW1. Destroyed during WW2 bombing and painstakingly restored to its former glory.
A must go when you are in Munich, the treasury room is also a must. Make sure to get the combination ticket.

Fantastic!! Take a ticket for everything, and a guide in your language. You will not want to miss anything! ????
wow so much luxury ! the wall gilding is gorgeous, and you can see some of the crowns and treasures of the past!
I love the historical structure , the courtyards are amazing!
Official Residence of the former Bavarian kings , now a museum . Don't miss to see the crown jewels ! Have a glass of wine after your visit at the Pfälzer Weinstuben.
So basically 60% of this place is not interesting, 30% is moderately impressive and 10% is stunning. And the last 10% alone make it worth a visit.
large museum with crown jewels , sculptures , and paintings . many paintings were destroyed from the war and cant be replaced...
Be sure to check out the family tree in the portrait hallway.
The glitzy former residence of the Bavarian kings , the Residenz now houses museums and a theatre , a complex right in the centre of town .
The Kombiticket is the way to go.
An amazing museum with incredible collection of Bavarian Kings . A very-must-see tourist attraction .
Very nice but you need to see the palace and the treasure 3 hours. Free audio guide.
Really hot and the informational placards aren't that interesting. There are some great areas, but half the time you are walking through back corridors with empty walls and no windows
Amazing. Got at opening time and you have the whole place to yourself.
Awesome if you are ever in Munich you have to pay a visit.. great pieces ????
Located next to an awesome little square which always has some musical event , wine/beerfest or random gathering of people.
A museum since 1920 but previously the home to the Bavarian kings , it's quite a sight!
Versailles-like in its gilded opulence and glory
A lot of history in this munich residence - worth the tour if your nearby.
Absolutely beautiful!!! Very impressed and such a wonderful place
Residenz has over 100 rooms (depending on the renovations) so allot at least 3 hours to see all
Nice place welcome to the Home of Bavarian Kings
Visit this beautiful palace , the largest inner-city palace in Germany.
Did not know what to expect here, but it was so interesting and beautiful!!
When here run all 4 lion noses . Chances are you'll be rich ????????????????????
Very big!!
Very hard to find an entrance to this place. Retarded bag checking system - you have to check in your bag (1hr wait) then another hour wait to pick it up. Very unorganized. Museum itself is ok.
Gorgeous palace , a must see when one visits Munich.
For the religious relics
Need at least 2 hour to see :))))
Terrible rude staff who are convinced you are here to damage and rob stuff. After 10 mins I was bored. Not worth a visit with the exception of the great main hall which was wonderful.
Beautiful garden
Must see if you are around
Enjoyable museum
When you rub all four lions noses , chances for wealth increase 100%
Too gorgeous for words.
Unmögliches Museumspersonal!
You must see it!
Phantastischer Ort mitten in München.
