I make it a point to go to the best pho spot in every city I visit and Golden Star was an absolute standout. If you don't end your meal with a Vietnamese iced coffee , I feel so, so sorry for you.
If you’re going for the first time, go for pho . (I like the #17 five spice chicken .) Cash-only, but $10 is all you need for a delicious, spicy bowl of noodle soup . Perfect for a quick bite on the go.
Chicken Fried Rice and Pork Pho were very tasty and large portions . They provide free hot tea ! Prices were quite reasonable. They only accept cash.
The bun bo hue (#22 spicy beef noodle soup ) might be the best I've had in the city so far!
Pork , chicken and vermicelli makes me happy. Great, well priced Vietnamese food . Oh and the pho ???? is great as well .
Pho ! I had the fish cake and it was good. The drinks are specially good as a dessert . Try the 3 bean. Weird and delicious.
Grilled Pork with Imperial rolls (#45) is mind blowing. Super authentic and a must try! This is a recommendation from a Vietnamese! :)
#17 best Pho ever! Don't let the front of the restaurant fool you. Very authentic and very tasty!
Come early during lunch to beat the rush! One of the better pho places around SF Chinatown.
Delicious pho and great service! The complementary green tea is ✔️✔️
Deli ! I particularly love their five spiced chicken ???? also go for their pho . Their noodles taste like milk .
#32, Lemon Beef (served cold) is incredible. It's a Vietnamese beef carpaccio , and I could eat it for every meal.
22 bun bo hue is great. So is 91 , seafood soup . I recommend getting a bowl of rice with it
Pork chop was delicious, and ofc the pho ????
Low key , and delicious - I am a fan of Bun , and I really liked the shrimp one.
This place is awesome. The fried rolls are good, as is the pork chop over rice or vermicelli .
Outstanding noodle bowls . Cash only . Nice people.
The beef pho broth is pretty fantastic right out of the kitchen. No need to dress it up.
Fantastic pho , especially #17. Make sure to get here either early or late.
Plenty of pho options and other Vietnamese and Chinese rice and noodle goodies.
Great pho with delicious broth. Don't forget to bring cash!
Decent Vietnamese food in Chinatown. $cash only so be prepared!
First Vietnamese restaurant that I had to wait in line to eat. I had #1 with Thai tea and they were both very good. I had to share the table with few other ppl but overall great food for good price
Amazing bun cha and bun bo hue ! Best Vietnamese we have had.
#1 and #22 were very tasty! Affordable prices. Cash only .
The pho is just as good as promised and the staff is very kind!
I always get the #8. Fast, cheap , cash-only and delicious.
Vietnamese sweet and spicy fish soup $15.
everything is good here, you can't go wrong
excellent pho ! I get mine with extra tendon
Very good. Had 40, which was good, although got sweet by end.
Try the Grilled Beef With Imperial Rolls - (via @Foodspotting)
The different soups with noodles are amazing.
Their rice plates are generally better than their broth noodles . Imperial Rolls if you are down for neither.
Get the 5 spiced chicken and egg roll rice dish- ask for the egg on top!!!
One of my favorite places in Chinatown. The portions are huge and everything is pretty cheap .
