Pizza is really good but these tiny tiny pours of wine should be a crime. The markup of an $18 glass of <5oz wine from a bottle that retails for $36 is horrible.
A fine Neapolitan pizza spot but not markedly better than say Keste or Roberta’s. Super simple topping options. The ice cream is fantastic tho.
Get here by 4:30 off peak tourist season and you’ll score a table. Great service. As for the pizza - I’ll give it points for the exceptional dough quality! Soft and chewy and bubbly napoleon ends!
The Ilaria special pizza on Thursdays is incredible - cherry tomatoes , smoked buffalo mozzarella DOP, and arugula combine to make your mouth water.
⚠️Important!⚠️ All wines are natural so please be advised that they are a little bit funky and not like usual wines . ????
All the antipasti are very very good! Service is okay.
Start with the buratta and have the margherita pie. They save space for walk-ins so don’t worry about an RSVP.
Margherita pizza is excellent. Tiramisu also great. Wines are solid but very pricey for the pour size
The vanilla ice cream was the only dish worth writing home about of the 2 apps and 2 pies (and the dessert ) we tried.
All the pies, especially Friday’s Concetta special, the gelato/sorbetto.
Decent, but not #1 in New York, let alone the world
Apolonia, tiramisu , just get everything!
Too expensive for what it is and wine list by bottle had three options, which were all over $70. Waiters weren’t too friendly and wouldn’t bring us oil for our pizza (which was dry and needed it).
I love their crust
Apollonia pizza on 2018 best thing I ever ate - Scott Conant
The burrata was great. Felt a bit rushed by the waiter
White pies reign supreme: Bianca, Filetti
Outrageously good. Great wine list
Margherita and wine . Just that
Good pizza but it is expensive and they don’t precut the pizza .
Pizza was excellent. Wine was overpriced and not good, unfortunately.
Cher surtout le vin
As of 2023, this is the best pizza in NYC. The crust is perfect, thin, slightly burned, the cheese is incredible. I rarely order a Margarita pizza and this time we did - so, so good! - I K
The Sicilian is incredibly airy and the sauce is TANGY. Top New York slice for sure - Aaron Pang
Red Grape/ Grapefruit Sorbet and Mint/ Earl Grey Gelato recommended by a friend. - B Chu
Get the Thai curry and Waldorf salad cocktail and save room for their classic chicken fried sandwich! They make a real effort with the their unique drink varieties. - Elvis Rodricks
One of those new trendy spots in LeS! Amazing rooftops views, though the cocktails dont match up to the scenic views! - Zeba Siddiqi
