I've never been disappointed, but I'm partial to the bun with grilled chicken . And I cannot come here without getting shrimp spring rolls and Vietnamese egg rolls .
Post-fire, Mai's looks more upscale and urban, but the food has retained its homey street quality. Get some spring rolls , and share a Banh Xeo and the garlic beef .
OMGosh!!! So really Delicious! This Garlic & Spicy Beef #97 is a must try!!! Rock* :D ????
It's all about the Garlic Chicken and the Vietnamese eggs rolls. You must try, you will thank me later.
Great place for a late night meal. Try the BBQ pork vermicelli bowl with egg rolls !!
So much nicer since the fire. The food and service is still the same. Food is awesome; service is mediocre. Who cares though, we do not come here for the service! Get the spring roles!

Great late night & after hours place to eat. Food is great! Loved their noodles !
Real nice inside. Love that it's in midtown and not that expensive . Also pretty cool that they're open till 4am! Never seen so many people at 2am.
All yummy and... guilt free!
canh chua ca and ca kho to are a solid combo to order!
Don and Calvin at the bar are awesome! Amazing service and just cool dudes (they're brothers too).
My favorite salt toasted tofu and the best peanut sauce .
I loved the chicken and asparagus ! They say it's a little spicy but it's really not.
Not the best Vietnamese in Houston, but Mai's is open late and remains an essential late-night hangout for Houstonians of all backgrounds.
Any vermicelli bowl is really good. #34 if you want something simple but delicious
All about the crispy egg noodles with seafood and veggies .
You must try the caramelized catfish . It is so good! I get it practically every time.
WARNING: Appetizers are meal-sized. Order one or the other, but not both unless you are really hungry! :-)
Awesome!! Love the staff and the salt toasted tofu !!! Our family spot !!

We asked politely the waiter if he could wear a mask, he said no in a rude way and that we could leave if we wanted to.If you want a terrible service and posibly contaminaded food this is the place.
Vegetarian heaven. Best fried tofu .
The rice plates and bowls are jam packed with meat.

Amazing general tso tofu !
Great Vietnamese Food . Since they reopened the prices seem to be higher, portions to be smaller and the quality isn't quite what it used to be.
Best lemon ice tea! Not the regular ice tea, the lemon iced tea which is freshly made :)! - Corina I
The Bahn Mi's and shrimp spring rolls are yum. I love the sinfully salty shrimp chips too. :-) - K D
