Fantastic local bar . Food is very very good for a dive-y type place. Wait-staff are friendly and efficient, crowd is mixed and relaxed. It can get lively in here on sports events .
Connecticut Yankee is Potrero Hill 's safe haven for Boston sports fans , where Tom Brady and David Ortiz rule the roost. There's tons of food (burgers , chili , barbecue ) to feed on throughout the game. Read more
One of the best burgers in the city . $3 mimosas on Sunday's! Fresh squeezed orange and grapefruit
Best Boston bar in San Francisco. Great food (even though I miss the tofu tacos ) and friendly rowdy crowd that fills up for boston sports games . Huge back patio full of TVs and lots of seating.
Great burgers and adult beverage options. I particularly love the patio area for brunch .
BLT chopped salad , add grilled chicken , tossed. One of the best salads I've ever had and they nail it every time. Ask for a fresh squeezed greyhound.

New ownership, same New England bar but different food option (less)not as New England oriented IMO. But still top New England bar for Sports in Bay Area.
They even bring your dog treats and water!

Pour Guys - Tempest . North Beach . Louie's , and this place. All in RAMAYTUSH OHLONE territory - Aka SF.
Say hi to James, the regular at the bar . Interesting stories. Nice guy. He likes Jameson.

Pub food extraordinaire. Try the Cajun meatloaf . Great ' comfort food .'
this is not nashville hot chicken it's sf "hot" chicken they put some aioli to blunt the already mild barely spice. look if you don't like spicy don't order something literally called "hot chicken "
Get the JoJo's! The Bip Bop burger is also delicious.
This is the Boston bar in SF . Catch the Red Sox, Celtics and Pats games here.
Beer good (loyal to the locals Anchor Steam ), food is so so (lukewarm chowder , better wings). Nice to be a Boston Bar however.
Their plate of fries is HUGE.
I had a margarita and split the linguine special with a friend. Both were excellent!
best French onion soup this side of the golden gate - and the veggie chili can actually be considered a worthy chili !
Be careful with the Bloody Mary's . They us a weird mix. It's kinda seafoody. And I wasn't sure if I could wear my NY Yankees gear in there. Despite the name.
Fried Chicken Sandwich
The onion rings are identical to Chilis Awesome Blossom.
Ask them to carry local beer / Root Beer from Devils Canyon Brewery !
Great place to watch Boston sports !
My new favorite bar in SF
Bim Bop Burger was awesome!
Steve the bartender has the best bad jokes ever.
Try the Wade Boggs With Side Salad

The bartenders like to arm wrestle thier patrons.

Watch a New England sports team on one of the Connecticut Yankee TVs .
Does not answer phone and voicemail is full. Makes it hard to call in an order.
