This is a great museum . The stories of the women presented here are inspiring and fascinating. They also have some really cool mechanical flight simulators on display, including one from the 1940s!
well kept secret. The women in the gift shop is just wonderful friendly and full of information anything you wanted to know about women pilots both military and non military as well as astronauts.
Make sure your cell is charged when you visit the International Women’s Air & Space Museum. They have an awesome audio tour that you can listen to on your phone!
The New Frontier exhibit features Valentina Tereshkova, who was the first woman to orbit Earth in 1963. The famous flight of Sally Ride in 1983, the first American in space, is documented as well . Read more
If you're going to the Cod , this is a great extra trip in the same area, but I wouldn't have gone out of my way to visit. But there was a lot of interesting history.
