The best thing about this place is the food. Great value meals. The beer garden upstairs is good and the pool table downstairs is fun for a few games too.

New GM & new head chef , same menu - but the food is VERY ordinary (2 dishes sent back AND replacement wrong!). Hope they get their shit together or our regular Friday lunch is off to the Shakepeare!

$50 minimum for credit cards is a bit steep. What was going to be a boozy long afternoon lunch became something short and cheap . Your loss, Fruity hotelier.

Skip the public bar altogether (it's all high vis and bar flies!) and go straight upstairs. Grab a table outside if you can.

I recommend the Tuscan Pork and Truffle Sausages with caramelized onion and creamy potato mash ! They're $12.50! Win!
