Pretty high quality theatre right in the middle of downtown #Chicago. Usually a good variety of movies playing and the theaters offer good sound and picture quality.

Great bar and food bite options. Great selection of independent and international films . Seats are comfy but worn and stained☹️

Interesting layout, unfortunately the drink machine is a Coke Freestyle so prepare for blended flavors from the shared spout.

Love this place. Big chain theater with relatively decent matinee ticket prices and it shows indie films . Stadium seating and a bar for those who like to have a cocktail before a show.

this is my favorite theatre to go to in the city . I am a creature of habit and I always get the same reliable service that I expect to get from this location.

It's a big, clean theater. Really great if you're going with a big group. I would suggest catching a matinee showing so you don't spend an arm and a leg!

AMC River East 21 is one of the better theaters with a good offering of international films . Be prepared to go up a few escalators since the theaters are on the third floor.

Traditional movie theater experience, but I’ve never any issues here. They have a good variety of blockbuster and independent films .

In-building parking has a 4 hour time limit for validated discount parking . You might say 4 hours is a long time, till you go back to your car and wonder where the time went. Easy budget blower.

Great place to see a movie , but DON'T buy any concessions. It's highway robbery with these prices. (Just get some goodies from the Walgreen's two doors down.)

They have a bar inside where you can order beer , wine , and cocktails to drink during your movie .

2 Important tips: #1 - Parking is $14 w validation & validate @ box office before film . #2 - toilets strongly flush as soon as you sit which makes em more like a bidet - watch out! Enjoy the movie ! xo

Another popular theater for film critics. But a really cool theater next to a bowling alley . Don't get lost.

There is a bar here! Repeat, a full bar that allows you to booze and watch movies . I personally think that is amazing.

Glad to see they have started to play more Bollywood (Hindi) movies here! Just need to advert this more! Otherwise love coming here for movies !

moviewatchers get free popcorn on Wednesdays but sometimes you get a free large popcorn and drink or free movie ticket as well . great value : )

This is the place for advanced screenings and special showings. A rowdier crowd goes here for some reason.

Morning movies are the way to go, much cheaper than the evening shows. Don't worry though, they'll still stick it to you at the snack bar .

Competitive street parking ! And I hate having to pay for parking , so I've learned to drive in early and do figure eights around the blocks or just catch CTA!? #Ughh

Decent parking around the theater. Unlike AMC on Michigan Ave. they have stadium seating. Great location near Navy Pier . Also a great place for "screen jumpers".

We could hear the bass from an adjoining movie . Not fun to have a movie interrupted repeatedly in this manner

I had 5 teen age brats kicked out of the theater at beginning of film . People clapped as they were escorted out. Stand up when people are being rude. Get AMC security. They will help.

Beautiful theater. Close to a Walgreens and post office , if you need.

Surprisingly you can go to a movie here and the theatre will be fairly empty. Very expensive but a good movie experience

totally love coming here before 2pm! its like watching a movie on a large screen all to myself. :P

I used to love coming to this theater. But lately this theater has been filled with ghetto people, who don't stop talking or using their cell phones during a movie . If you come here I would recommend

Get a large beer for 10 dollars, it's huge and better than paying the same price for a coke

Lots more screens than the IMAX at Navy Pier so there's almost always something on worth watching.

Buy snacks from the Walgreens next door ! So much cheaper and a much shorter line .

To the person complaining about being asked to leave - you shouldn't have had your phone on or out in the open. This is one nice theater!

Catch an early show at the AMCinema. You can save close to $10 if you go before noon. Also I ordered chicken tenders from the snack bar . I waited for 15 minutes and never got them. Had to get a refund

Enjoy the murals of famous movie characters throughout the different lobbies.

Try the Ra Sushi place before or after the movie right next door - very good & unique drinks!
