The $14 tour is definitely worth it- great tour guides and a substantial pour of their distiller's choice and double oaked . The tasting was a class in bourbon tasting and a cool experience.
Easily the most photogenic of distilleries we visited. Don't try to take time lapses of the bottling process or you'll get yelled at and you're shot'll get ruined. Great time though.
Such a fun tour , you get to see the wash tubs, stills, aging warehouses , and bottling area. Get limited edition bottles in the gift shop !
Really amazing tour . Significantly better than Buffalo and Roses . Tasting is great. Bring sandwiches and eat on the picnic tables .
The tour and tasting were great. Tour guide was very friendly and informative. By touring Woodford you can understand why their bourbon is so good. You get to visit the fermentation room. Smells great
Just what you would expect. There were a couple of distillery exclusives. The real surprise came later at a restaurant where I tried Woodford 's straight, double-oaked / single barrel. Very nice.
For a unique experience, sign up for the 'Tasting Wheel' sampling. You'll lean how to bring out specific flavors by mixing bourbon with food.
This is everything you imagine a bourbon distillery in the heart of Bourbon Country would be. And maybe a little more, too.
Woodford is one of the most beautiful and historic of all the distilleries in KY. The barrel houses are made of stone and you get to drive through the greatest horse farms to get here.
Tour is now $10. Interior if the main house has been updated with lots of comfy chairs . They've gone high tech with personal audio systems. No more free shot glass. Still a great tour .
Fantastic tour , well worth the $10 entry fee. You get a lot closer to the bourbon making process than at other distillery tours .
This distillery is home to the Bourbon Academy. These are day-long classes where guests get hands-on lessons as well as tastings and a bourbon lunch . Read more to see more DIY distilleries . Read more

Great tour one of oldest distilleries in the country . Rich history worth the trip
Tours are $7. Get here at least an hr before you want to tour on the weekends they are busy!!!
The tour isn’t terrific, but it’s a beautiful place set in rolling hills . Then there’s the bourbon . ????????
Fantastic and educational tours ! This place really showcases Kentucky and our rich heritage and bourbon . - Elise Oblander
Best distillery tour in KY. Also, look out for Elijah the cat. He wandered into the distillery 16 years ago and his been there ever since.
Stephanie is a tour guide extraordinaire. She's not only very knowledgeable but personable and entertaining as well . Do not leave without trying the bourbon balls .
Loudspeaker tour announcements and too polished appearance were a disappointing surprise. Very touristy spot, sadly. Still a lovely product coming out of here. The free bourbon ball candy is tasty.
Ask about the tasting + lunch . Great meal and cool tasting experience.
We are having a blast here. Please come and visit. It’s a well worth trip.
Amazing tour at an incredibly scenic distillery in horse country .
Double Oak was definitely the best taster .
Amazing tour and tasting. Well worth the trip!
After you're done, drive northeast on McCracken Pike and you'll pass a few more distilleries , including some that have been abandoned and overgrown.
Tom was a great tour guide and I learned about the difference in whiskey and bourbon !
The tour is really well done. The tasting has chocolates NOM
Tours are scheduled on the hour but don't usually follow the schedule, they leave as soon as a tour group is full.
Tours are $7 make sure you arrive an hr before you want to your on the weekends! Busy!!!
The 20 minute presentation and tasting was informative and tasty
Best tour we had on the trail .
Find my a winery in Napa or Sonoma that is more scenic , I challenge you.
Tour is pretty 'corporate' feeling, and uninspiring. Check out Buffalo Trace for a more personal bourbon experience.
Get the golden etching done on your bottle. It's awsome
The distillery itself is the oldest and smallest working bourbon distillery and a National Historic Landmark . Read more
Beautiful setting with exceptional bourbon .
My favorite is the Double Oaked Bourbon
If you miss the tour , you still get a free shot and bourbon ball ;)
First Kentucky Bourbon distillery I've been at. Very lovely.
Nice tour and beautiful setting. $7 tour price these days ?!?!? Way to go Brown Forman... Shame.
Don't forget your free shot, shot glass and bourbon chocolate :)
