Where else to enjoy a drink if you pass by Trafalgar Square or attend a concert at Saint Martin in the Fields . Located in the crypt of the same name, this lovely place is a lovely relaxing place.
Nice Environment, salads , vegetables and soup of the day. Try the dinner with Music
Tucked away and hidden, serves good bites. Had a tea set (scone+cream+jam+tea/coffee) for about £7 thereabouts. Just don't tell your mother what's underneath. Self-serve tap water .
Canteen style restaurant set in the Crypt of St Martin’s in the Field in Trafalgar Square . Their clotted cream scones are great, but get there early!
For £5 you can have a good chocolate cake piece with a big cup of tea . One of the best place for a tea stop in that area
The custard on beery and apple bake is definitely not for one person ... And the food looks amazing and the salads are marvellous ... I haven't had either of them though .!!
Impressive indoor space but it could be even better and cozier. Food, cake and snacks and coffee are served here. Quite touristic I would say though.
Good for a quick canteen style lunch . Food is average, but not bad at all. Daily meat and vegetarian hot meal options. They also do jazz nights (tickets needed).
Really great fresh cheap (ish) food - gallery , exhibitions , shop, concerts and of course churchy stuff for those that way inclined
A hidden gem in the middle of the city . Food was delicious and very well served, but the atmosphere was the champion.
Such a great place with very good food and very good prices for central London
Great value . Lovely soups . Can be busy at lunchtime but top central lunch spot . Ideal for National Gallery visit/combination.
Goo place to hide away and have lunch and coffee . Free water available, so don't buy any bottled water!
Good place for a lunch if you're in the area. Don't forget to stop by the little shop and the brass rubbing.
Perfect place to get away from the hustle & bustle- somewhere beautiful & unusual to enjoy a quiet coffee
Lovely lunch spot but can fill up fast!
If you want to hide in a cellar with no phone service, sporadic wifi and grumpy staff , look no further! Tea and coffee will set you back two and a half British pounds, for sure.
This place is MASSIVE! I would call it canteen rather than café . Queue for food may be quite long
Superb value, healthy, colourful, impressive salads , served just a metre or so above hundreds of corpses. Can't fault the place.
Weird little place near to trafalgar square . Went there for all day breakfast . Fairly standard but empty and accommodating.
Great for a quiet coffee in a busy part of town
Grab a cuppa.
A great place, hidden away from the busyness of Trafalgar Square
For a buffet the food is not bad. Reasonably prices and good atmosphere.
Jazz Wednesday Night - great atmosphere, bad food. Would go back there for a cozy catch up with a mate on a Wednesday night. But probably wouldn't go back any other time.... Food is quite poor.
Great historic venue for an afternoon tea
Spacious cafe with live jazz every Wednesdays... Pleasant
Cool location, large space but very bright
This is a really cool place. Good food for few pounds #London
The restaurant here seems cheap and good, you can choose the meal from the day.
Vegetarian dish option is great
Very atypical place. But not that expensive for the neighbourhood and the food is good.
A serene atmosphere as a retreat from the hustle above ground
Cheap and with great atmosphere
Great value and delicious
Usually fish&ships. A bit unhealthy but for a good value .
Free wifi and rooibos tea . Can't ask for more than that!
Lovely space, food good if a little over-priced.
Cool art exhibition on right now
Great variety of food
Head down to the Crypt on Wednesday for their jazz night ! Read more
Cafeteria style seating
Enjoyed ploughmans lunch . Good value . Very busy today
Lovely scones .
I love free art exhibitionsv
Live Jazz on Wednesdays at 8pm. Tickets from 5.50£ (9£ with reserved seating)
I went exclusively to see Nell Gwynn's tomb, and not one person working there knew who I was talking about.
Cheap eats in a cool (and slightly creepy) location!
Head underground to this cafe , nice setting, and cheaper than other central london cafe 's.
Heavily crowded with tourists .
A fantastically atmospheric gallery, well worth popping in, to see whatever work is on show. - Toby Deveson
If you are eggs fan or pastries then this is the right spot for you. Their eggs portion is humongous! It is relatively empty in the weekdays. Their service is fast ما يستاهل الضجه فرع باريس احلى - Mada ???????? ????????♀️☕️
My favorite area, beautiful location. Close to Leicester square, and several great food stops. - Chelsea Bradley
Obviously one of the best art collections in the world. Well curated and displayed, lately many highly popular interesting exhibitions. - Charles Polák
The concerts here are great. Lovely ambiance, good music, and low prices. - Debbie W
