One of London’s landmarks , and where the National Portrait Gallery is. Usually, there is some event or happening. Very central location, and next to many other sights like Piccadilly Circus .
Great photo opportunities to catch Big Ben in the distance with Nelson's Column in the forefront. Or take one with one of the bronze lions . Just a great square with plenty to see all around.
Great and worth a visit. Even living in London I love this place. And I still like climbing on the lions ;)
A place where pigeons fly past your face! There's a lot of performance and people watching . Take time to relax and ride the lion statues . Spend time to discover National Gallery
Real centre of London! Most of the "point of interests" and touristic places (Covent Garden , Soho, etc) are in walking distance. Don't forget to visit National Gallery (entrance free).
Seems like it's just a square with fountain and tall statue ... lots of people watching and not many street performers !!!! Conveniently located to the National Gallery and Leicester Sq and more!
The site of where all measurement ‘from London’ takes place. Popular Gathering point for protests, so check before venturing there. Popular tourists sites, museums & Church on the square.
Snap a photo in the square. If you come early in the morning when there's not a tourist in sight, the scene is rather peaceful . If you arrive in the morning, you'll get to enter the Gallery early too.
Nice place with great architecture and monuments . Bookstore at the corner of Strand and Nortumberland is amazing. The best currency exchange rates are at the corner of Whitehall and Nortumberland.
I like going there especially when there are celebrations. It's even better when the sun is shining! And the National Gallery is just a few steps from it ;)
Interesting area with fountains and statues . People come here to enjoy the view and relax a bit!
Iconic landmark of the 13th century, to commemorate the Napoleonic Wars: today it's still a very important busy square, for gatherings, events and special celebrations!
Walk towards Buckingham Palace , and you'll walk under three arches. The arch on the right has a nose stuck onto it, about 8 feet from the ground.
Every year a Norway Spruce is erected here and decorated as part of the Christmas festivities . The tree is a gift of thanks from the Norwegians for Britain's support during the Second World War

One of my favorite spots in the world. Along with Piccadilly Circus , this place could keep me busy for days.
There will always be plenty of people around here but it's such a famous landmark . I live walking through at night when the fountains are lit up and it's calmer.
