OMG!!! The portions are HUGE!! I had the queen "small" prime rib and it was bigger than my plate!! It was delicious!! I have left overs for days... LOL

I love going there. Their chili bean soup is awesome. I was looking forward to it when I was coming home from Afghanistan. Their steaks have never let me down. Some of the best steak I've ever had.

Opened 1953. The 6th opened of a BBQ chain that only has 3 left. Rustic , woody interior meant to suggest a log cabin .

I love bake beans but I don't like the beans here. The French fries are the best!

Years ago this spot was the "it" place in Downey but now it's living on memories. I've been their twice in the past year & was very disappointed. Heavy flavor of charcoal fluid.
