Beach is a bit out of the way but it’s a huge empty swath of sand to make your own and play on. Cool big dunes as well .

Great beach , with parking and picnic tables close by so you don't have to lug your stuff far. Come early, parking is $10.

Even if you are here, the person who tagged the beach did it wrong and Foursquare won't count your check in. Nice beach for sea lion and otter spotting at sunset .

Tobias Schmidt

Nice beach with good views

an urban campground. If you like the beach it's super close but it's not a campground where you want to hang out all day. Use it as a base to explore the local area like Monterey instead! - Barbara Stephenson

Good place to see sea otters and seals. Best viewing is at the end of the road at the channel opening to the ocean. Love the Sea Otter crossing sign. - eric bornemann
