Seacliff State Beach

This beach is known for its fishing pier and concrete freighter, The Palo Alto. Only the pier is open for fishing. The beach is also a popular swimming spot. There is a long stretch of sand backed by bluffs. There is a covered picnic facility. The park also has an interpretive center.

The visitor center at Seacliff State Beach is worth a quick stop. They have a little pool where the kids can touch starfish, anemones, etc. Sometimes you can make kites there too.

This beach is starting to go down the tubes, it gets very crowded and now you have to get there at 4:00 in the morning just to get a table, and the sand is very dirty and full of lots of wood.

Athonia Cappelli

Ask them to start the 8 minute video in the visitors center which gives a history of the wrecked concrete ship

The Palo Alto was a party ship originally, but fought fire on its maiden voyage. I remember walking on it many times, but now its just a Lookie-loo!

From the entrance walk toward the New Brighton State beach . It's a great walk and much less crowded than the south side of the beach .

Bu kadar büyük bir kumsal hayatımda görmedim. Ucu bucağı gözükmüyor. Arabayla inmek ücretli, yukarı bırakıp yürüyerek inebilirsiniz
