Yellow belly newt is rare and only found in #SantaCruz mountains . We found 3 on Christmas likely due to recent rains

Bring hiking pole if you're going up to Maple Falls. It's 10 miles to the Waterfall at the top of Nisene Marks. There's lots of river crossings required but It flows beautifully after the rains.

The main track is a killer workout by itself, but if you have the time to explore, you'll end up with a gr8 experience and amazing views . They have free maps at the main entrance, get them and follow.

Beautiful place! Covered in pink all around. Don't touch that pink though! It's all poison oak ! But, on an overcast day, this is absolutely amazing!

Remco Scheepmaker

Amazing views and elevation changes, but watch those roots while mountainbiking!

Jason Boudreault

You will love running under the canopy of the redwoods . Try going up to sand point for a breathtaking view .

Brian Strauss

Fantastic MTB singletrack destination. Hitch a ride with Shuttle Dave to the top on the weekends.

Terry Ballantyne

Most amazing hikes considering you can get a latte immediately when you finish or buy a bike from Shawn @ Epicenter Bikes !

Derek Gurney

A place I enjoy more and more. The Old Growth Loop doesn't have much old growth but is still worthwhile

Tobias Schmidt

Fantastic redwood forrest with both short and long hikes .

Bring a map, this place is huge!

Arne Schmitz

Study the maps first. Some of the trails are badly labeled (in the lower park at least).

Patti Firrincili

Beautiful.

Runqiu Cai

Great biking trails

Chris H.

Good luck with parking

Jonathan Kaplan

Killer single track !

Baba Ramdoss

Stay on the trails unless you know what poison oak looks like.

Deli sandwiches are .49 cents more here than at the one on 41st ave...it adds up if you like sandwiches. And if you get a free sandwich coupon from the other one, it doesn't cover the whole sandwich. - Jill Amanno
