One of the few old growth redwoods . Very short east stroll. Take the River Trail for a longer walk.

$10 for a parking day pass near the visitor center. Or park near downtown off the 17 and take a short hike through the meadow to get to the Redwood Loop trail .

Tobias Schmidt

The four crossings hike -- especially the Hole and Buckeye trail portions of it -- was enchanting. But beware: your feet will almost certainly get wet and depending on season so may your knees!

Sara Jones

Beautiful! Stopped here on our way to San Francisco. So glad we did! Be sure to go on a hike . The trails range from easy/short to a little more challenging.

George M.

Magnificent hundred year old redwoods . I would suggest walking around and hiking instead of taking the train , which takes too long and I didn’t find this exciting.

Jesse Johnston

The park offers a neat train and traditional western town within the park grounds, plus the river that runs alongside the train is a must-see in spring.

David Zucker

Wow, hard not keep looking up, just like sightseeing in Manhattan, except they're very, very tall trees .
